I am hoping for a good price on the Matrix Blu-ray box set and that it shows up to order there before they pull the plug on this 30% off coupon (I imagine it can't last forever)...

I have only used it for pre-orders, but I got my first two items (Batman Begins and Gotham Knight, both Blu) on the day they were released, so I am pleased with their "new" service (so far)....much better than last year when I got some stuff long after it was released...

This company is still weird. My copy of The Wire Season 5 is already en route and it's not released until August 12.

Meanwhile, the 2 Harold and Kumar blu-rays, due next week, are still Processing.

The Matrix box set on blu ray is up now. Looks like $70 after the coupon.

They have really improved their shipping. I ordered the three Doctor Who sets on 7/17 and they all got here on 7/24, a week later!

Got Dark City Blu-Ray on Monday, the day before release. Ordered on 07/17/08.

I was just about to pull the trigger on:

V for Vendetta HD-DVD
Purple Rain HD-DVD
Galapagos HD-DVD

...for around $42 shipped ($14 ea), when I remembered that I can order them 2-for-£10 from the UK ($12 ea incl shipping). WHV is a good deal for non-clearance items, but it's still cheaper to get HD-DVD titles from overseas right now.

I ordered LA Confidential and Matrix in Blu-ray off of this. Not too shabby.

Got mine yesterday 7/30--they mailed it in a 15" cube box, and when i opened the box I found a single crumpled paper for support, and the blu-ray disc--which was slightly jack-knifed. Mult have melted and bent a bit. Did not open yet to see if the disc is OK. Called them up and they are going to send another. If they don't ask for this one back I'll open to verify the disc is OK and see if I can trade it for something else.

Only 1 of my August 5th Doctor Who Pre-Orders have shipped. I'm hoping they're not going to ship all 3 separately!

My Five Doctors has shipped too. Can't wait for the extras, many of which I've had on follow-the-blob VHS for ages.

It works now. Too bad its not 30% off but it does work on a single item unlike the 30% off coupon where you needed to order 2 or more items.

I got my order today, three Doctor Who titles. Thing is, one isn't supposed to be released until 9/02 and another isn't supposed to be released until October!

MyExpressCheckout? They just show up?

It shows in MyExpressCheckout + I get a shipped email from them as well.

The emails often arrive several days after the package has shipped - in my case I usually already have the goods by the time the shipping notification arrives!

Best way is to regularly check MyExpressCheckout when you know something is soon to be released.

I received Torchwood Season 1 Blu ray on Monday from Warners even though per Amazon it is not due for release until September 16. Must have been an error as SD of this title has been out for awhile. Anyway I'll have to watch it soon so I can take advantage of this early release.

Some folks got Sarah Connor Chronicles on BD a week ago... so anything is possible.

I got my copy of Dark City from them, oddly w/ the free ship they sent it in a big box via next day air.

That's awesome! I finally got my other 2 August titles a few days after the first arrived. I pre-ordered the September titles at the same time as this order so I've now got my fingers crossed that those titles arrive as well!

EDIT: Terminator changed to shipped on August 14. The tracking number provided said it was one day shipping, meaning it should arrive 8/15 or 8/16.

did anyone else order "in treatment" and have the order cancelled? this was the only one i was really looking forward to and only added to the order to fulfill the free shipping, now i get an email saying it is cancelling due to packaging issues.

I just dont get how they can set release dates and then ship titles a month
in advance especially if one plans their purchases (money on hand) based upon the timing. Why have a release date at all. Why not just tell everyone to use

Can anyone find "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.?" Back when Warner's announced they were releasing the complete series, it was on their site. I didn't order it at the time and now I can't seem to find it. I imagine that it'll turn up, but I thought I'd see if anyone had better luck than me.

Very good point on the money on hand thing but that is why you have to balance your checkbook and minus that out as soon as you place the preorder.
