What are the best stackable coupons to use online? I am a B&N member so I got the % off and used the Visa % off also.

I am buying Ran and trying to get the price down to what I could get it in the store ($13).

Any help would be great, thanks.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

So last night I used the 25% off coupon on a magazine. The lady there kept on babbling away that it was a "non member" coupon (I'm a member). I told her that the discounts stacked, and she interupted me and tried to explain that there were member and non-member coupons, and that maybe I was not getting the right emails. I assured her I was getting the emails, and read her the fine print of the coupon, then she couldn't find it, then I pointed it out to her, then she said that "oh it changed", underlined it, acted like she was going to walk off, then rang up my purchase and was very quiet.

Not the friendliest lady. I always use coupons at Barnes and Noble, I go there all the time. I highly appreciate the new 25% off coupon ,because it was almost 35% off, rather than the new just 20% off one, so thanks for that. As someone farther up posted, some "member appreciation" when the "non member" coupon is so much better.

So yeah, I just wanted to vent, because that lady really annoyed me last night, and didn't even apologize, which is what I wanted. I'm just going to avoid her line in the future.

Online coupons do not stack with each other, and the Visa 5% discount does not stack with a B&N 10% member discount. The closest thing to a stackable coupon are the online $5 off coupons, but they require the purchase of several items to generate the additional savings.

The nearest you can get to $13 online is using the current 15% member coupon code found on the first page if you have not already, and make the purchase through Bing to get 12% cashback. If you are a member the order should ship free if it is $10 or more. All discounts applied should get it around $13.50 before any taxes, but you would have to wait on Bing for the cashback later.

If you can find Ran in a nearby B&N store I would suggest purchasing it from them with a either a $5 or 25% store coupon. If they do not stock it you can see if they will order it for you, or allow you to do a ship to home order using the coupons.

Thanks LASER, I got it down to $16.15, sound right?

I used Bing also. I couldn't pick it up at my local store, wasn't available.

I figure the coupon and members discount would be around $15.30 before sales tax. So I assume that price includes sales tax for your state? That sounds about right unless it's California, which would add about an extra fifty cents in taxes.-ohbfrank-

You should see the Bing discount show up after they process the order, so you could see that by Monday or Tuesday if there are no delays. Should get around another $1.80 back.

Cool, thanks! I'm glad they can be used online... Just realized I have to wait until 11/25 to use em, though. :(

It is not letting me use the $5 off coupon.

Best thing I can do is use a %15 off coupon and get free shipping.
Order Total: $16.15

I am not sure how I can get the price to go down more. Any ideas?

They often activate the online coupons about a day early. You could see them start working as early as the evening of November 23rd.

If you only want to order the one DVD online with the coupon codes that are currently active there are not many options to get the price lower that I have not already explained. Only other thing is if you have a credit card that gives cashback on purchases.

You can't use the $5 off online coupons on a DVD if the selling price is under $20 before a members discount. The 50% sale brings the price down to $19.99, which makes it a penny short. The online $5 coupons are different compared to the printable store coupons for this sale.

However if you purchase a DVD $20 or more, a CD $10 or more, and the order totals $50 or more it will deduct $15 off the total. If you purchase a CD and DVD that qualify the other $19.99 DVD could be used as filler to get the order total to $50 to kick in the extra $5 discount.

I also mentioned you can try to go to a store to order it with a $5 printable coupon. I did it last week with a ship to home order even though the coupon says it is not allowed. A lot of stores seem if they will do it for you if you ask them. I was able to order the DVDs for $13 each, and they were shipped directly to my home address. If B&N lets you do a ship to home order the DVD should ship free because of the current $10 free shipping offer for members.

I got a lower price using 15% off coupon W4B4D8M, which did stack.

YMMV.

Same problem here.30% off one item(already 50% off) would have been nice.
I hope the instore 20% and membership discount stack.

I went to BN today and asked the lady if i could use all the coupons in 1 item, and i was so happy when she said why not. So i walked around and chose criterion DVDs that i wanted and went back to pay, but there's a guy already there and received my purchase.

"No sir you can only use 1 coupon per transaction." My world started to fall apart. It was close :(

I was about to use the 50/40/20% coupon expiring today for books, until I noticed the amazing coupons Lasermovies posted for books from 11/25-11/30. Wow.

Thanks for keeping us current.

Only once for me, but that's probably a good thing.

American Express has been good for the current Criterion sale. It gives 5% back.

Today only they have "Homicide Life on the Street - The Complete Series" for $59.98 and free shipping. A 20% off coupon brought my total to 47.98 + 3.24 tax = 51.22! Not bad for a seven season set that retails for $150.

Awesome deal on a great show. Each year I pick a few shows to marathon through the entire series. This year included Oz and Six Feet Under. Next year will feature Homicide and Sopranos.

I'm not getting it to show up today, but I remember seeing it on the front page yesterday. So... I think for other people looking to get it, the deal is over.

You can start using the online coupons today. I checked a short time ago and they are now active.

Also added 4 new 15% online coupons that were activated earlier than anticipated. However a day late for the Criterion sale.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I can't get the non-member 20% off coupon F4B9F7R to work anymore. I used it last night without issue. I created a new account, and it worked like a charm. I just tried to create two new accounts new, and it won't work with either. I'm trying to order an in-stock Blu-Ray (which is what I also ordered last night when it worked), so it meets all of the coupon requirements. Strange... I guess I'll just use one of the new 15% coupons posted on my member account. It only costs 13 cents more on each. I just hate to waste good coupons on items below $10...

FYI, for those who didn't read this in other various threads, there are some smoking Blu-Ray deals right now. The following BD's are 9.89 BEFORE any discounts:
Spiderwick Chronicles
There Will Be Blood
Tropic Thunder
Sweeney Todd
