Hopefully it goes through. My problem was not really receiving emails with my Yahoo account, but sending to other email addresses. I could usually receive emails sent through the forum from someone else which is sort of weird. Anyway when I changed to gmail it seemed to solve the sending problem I was having. Goodluck!

Probably by tomorrow your private messages will get enabled since you're now over the 10 post mark and you won't have to rely on the erratic DVDTalk email system in the future.

Does B&N stopped making 15% or 20% off coupons for non-members? i have used some of those on previous Criterion sales, but it's been a while since last time, and looks like every coupon now is only for members.

I asked in the BD thread already, so don't want to sound piggish, but...could really use an extra coupon or two since I plan to make several Criterion purchases this sale. Thanks for any help; regardless, great to see the generosity here.

There is no GENERIC coupon code, hariseldon is generously fielding requests for unique codes and sending them out to those who ask.

So I went and got Blu-rays of THINGS TO COME (1936) and LATE SPRING (1949) with the coupons. Good lookin' out, fellas!

I would appreciate a couple of current b&n coupons with the additional string code so I can use them in store. There was a comment that they be requested "PM ". What is "PM " and how do you use it?

PM refers to the Private Message e-mail (or function) that is used on this forum.

Simply click on the user name that you wish to send a private message to and a drop down menu will appear. If I use hariseldon's name in his post above, a drop down menu appears with Option #2 being send a private message to hariseldon. Select that option and an area will appear that allows one to send a PM message to hariseldon. Please note that if you send a PM, the reply will come back to your own PM account associated with YOUR user name. Meaning that you have to be signed in to retrieve / view it. I used to answer PMs al the time when I posted the ads / pricing for the Big 3 (now Big 2). Hopefully this helps you.


When you sign into DVDTalk, under your username (or profile name) in the upper right corner, there is a link to see your Private Messages and you should be able to figure it from there. If not, you can certainly ask here or even send me a PM.
