Yep, that's mine plan too. Thanks for the confirmation. I'll stop by tomorrow after work.

There is also a regular version of Seven without the book for $18 before discount that I'm going to pick up as well.

I can't confirm that because I haven't tried it yet but I did read on another site that 502001 is indeed the 50% for non-members.

Thank you. Time to burn out my printer. :)

If you look at the file name of the image that Lasermovies has posted on page one, the 502001 coupon reads "0331_non_coupon_50prcnt_37767.gif". Is that B&N nomenclature, or Lasermovies' own naming convention? (If the latter, sorry for the dumb question!)

That's from B&N.

I can confirm: 106381 and 502001 ARE the 50% off coupons.

p.s. picked up a criterion blu for$16.19 + tax.few dollars more than criterion sale and 25% coupon (if any this time)

What Criterion did you pick up if you don't mind me asking? I was thinking of picking up House.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Just got back from Barnes & Noble. The guy at Customer Service said if I wanted to do a ship-to-home for a DVD I should go over to that section. I think he was just being lazy, so when I go back I'll try it with a different cashier.

Picked up Doctor Who: Image Of The Fendahl using the 50% Off Members Coupon. The cashier commented that it was very lucky I got 50% Off, and I agreed. Then I told the lady I had another coupon, but that it was a Non-Member one, and hopefully it was also 50% Off. She said it was a good thing it was a Non-Member Coupon, because technically I shouldn't be allowed to use the same one twice. So I did ship-to-home for Doctor Who: Inferno and low and behold (loll) the Non-Member Coupon was also 50% Off and she again commented how lucky I was. I thanked her, and left.

Not the best deals I've gotten using the coupons, but I'm trying to put a dent in my Doctor Who Collection and knocking off the ones that are low in stock on Amazon first, lest they go OOP. As long as I can get them lower than they're going for on Amazon, that's good enough for me.

That movie looked interesting as well. Hmm, I'll have to see what they have.

I guess it depends on who I get for a cashier, but I probably won't be able to do two separate transactions of two movies each using the member and non-member coupons on the four movies correct? The most I can buy is two items using the member and non-member coupon once, correct?

I guess I could always go to another Barnes & Noble as my last resort.

If anyone finds any great Ship to Home suggestions, other than Star Wars, LOTR, Ten Commandments, and True Blood S3, please post them here!

It probably goes without saying, but I can't wait for the online 50% codes. My wife has a membership, and I don't, and I could totally use a few B1G-half TV sets.

It looks like several posts back someone mentioned using the in-store 50% coupon towards the upcoming LOTR release (with the website price). I was under the impression these coupons were not allowed with pre-orders or online. Some clarification please...

How do you get a Criterion blu at this price? Wouldn't it take 50% off the MSRP which is 40?

Guys, do you know which price would be applied to SHIP-TO-HOME in-store order?
If they're applying online price, would these INSTORE coupons work?

Online price. And yes, they'll work.

I'm considering Breaking Bad Season 3 BD. But the prices seemed to drop quickly on the previous seasons so I may wait. If I could convince the clerk to give it to me as part of the TV sale I'd do it but since it's not to be released until June I'm sure it won't fly.

They are not allowed on pre-orders, however, it's a BIG YMMV.

Some of us have had success using the coupons on pre-orders placed in store using Ship to Home.

Apocalypse Now - $54 online vs. $60 in-store
Army of Shadows - $28 online vs. $40 in-store

Is there a problem doing a ship-to-home when the product is in-stock anyways?

I should probably become a B&N member. It seems the savings work out in the long run...

I received two emails, one to my Member email address and one to my Non-Member email address. The Member one is on the lower end and if anyone wants the code (I think it's the 15% one) I'll PM it to them. I did, however, luck into the 50% Off Non-Member code, so I'll use that on something later on.

Here's the math:

35.99 Price - 10% member discount - 50% coupon = 16.19

Criterions may list at 39.99 but they are 10% off in stores for a selling price of 35.99.
