Just went to CC during my break for lunch. Hunted left and right in the entire store for this sucker, couldn't find it. As I was leaving they had a display at entrance of the store. All the Alien movies were there. The 9 disc Quadrilogy was labeled for 50 dollars.
Nobody was at the register so I had to take it to the customer service desk and thought I was going to get pwned and shot down. A girl was ringing me up and I nervously mumbled "can you look this price up...It says 19.99 on the CC website...for the 9 disc." She scanned it and said Yup, so I hurried and swiped my card. Then she said "Wait"... She pushed a couple buttons and I thought, oh great, it's going to come up full price because they fixed it. But nope, she was just hitting the enter button so tax would pop up. Paid 21.39 and walked out with this nice set.
I just opened it up and it's 9 discs total. Yehaw!!!
They had a lot left!
* Hope my story was fun to read... Thanks OP for the heads up. Might go back later tonight to pick up another for my girlfriends mother, they're her favorite movies which is rad!

I had to ask at my store, since like someone else mentioned they had them in a separate display at the front, way away from the other DVDs. It was the 9 disc set. I already had the set, but I got it used a while ago and it was kind of beat up, so I decided to take this opportunity to get a new one. It's a fantastic set.

Picked up the last one at the Woodruff Road location in Greenville, SC (not sure if the Woods Crossing store has it). At a little over $2 a disc, it's a great deal and I love the Alien movies (well, "love" the first two. "Like" better describes the last two.)

Started watching them last night and I don't understand why they made this massive set (which I understand originally sold for $100 when released in 2003) and didn't digitally restore Aliens. The older Alien was restored and it looks incredible -- like a movie that came out yesterday. But Aliens looks horrible. It's grainy (I know some of this is the way it was filmed, but it should not this bad) -- has some macroblocking -- and just overall is a poor transfer.
The last two are newer and look better so it's just Aliens -- which to me is right up there with the original as the best of the series -- that is pitiful. Disappointing.

Picked up mine at CC (Independence, MO) for $21.63 after taxes. Still have 1 copy left & it in the back room. Always ask the employee check see how many they have instock if they do have it & if it not on the floor. Ask them check the back room

It is true about Alien: at times I thought it could be a blu-ray. It is really a stunning remastering job. I am still debating about selling my 20th Anniversay Edition copy, because every review I have read raves about the Scott commentary (I have yet to listen to it).
Thanks to the OP about this deal, although it strikes me that this deal may be more common than we think. I got my copy in a display with the AVP DVDs, as though FOX is unloading this box set to make way for the Blu-ray version. If true, perhaps they will remaster Aliens for it.
