I've gotta remember to check out this thread more often... I had no idea they had The Addams Family: The Complete Series for such an incredible price. Lucked out just now, and got the last one at my local Costco.

That Hitchcock set sounds tempting but I have sworn off double dipping anymore until the HD version comes out.
Might have to break my rule.

Was there again today and they also have Shakira, Tony Bennett, and John Legend at that price.

Bought "Bonnie & Clyde" UE last night, got home, opened it, and found it had no mail-in poster form. I'm hoping to exchange it for another at the same Costco - Has anyone else had this issue, by chance? I'm hoping they're not all missing the form.

Mine that I bought there didn't have a form either...

Just got back from Costco. For those that haven't bought it yet, they had the Seinfeld Complete Series for $139.99. Best price I have seen in a while. If you're in MA, the Waltham store has about 9 left. I snagged one.

Went to Costco and saw this isn't the Hitchcock set I was expecting. Its not the Universal but a repackaging of the Warner titles.
No big loss there.

Just exchanged my "Bonnie & Clyde" UE at Costco for another one... which was also missing the free poster form. I think at this point, I'll probably just look at the photo book and press book, and exchange this set for another Costco plastic cash card (which they gave me the first time around, which I used for this second set), and get something else. As for "Bonnie & Clyde", I'll probably opt for the standard 2-disc version some time down the line.

Yes, they really need to get on the ball with the blu-rays. Most of their titles are more expensive than, say, Fry's, and most of the titles that went on sale at Target and CC this weekend are several bucks more at Costco.

Has anyone seen the new Universal Cinema Classics titles at Costco today?

The Major and the Minor, Easy Living, Midnight or She Done Him Wrong?

Could it be that the other stores are selling the discs below cost as a loss leader? My understandng is that Costco really does sell at wholesale prices for the vast majority of its goods and maybe their prices for BRDs reflect the actual wholesale price?

I think that's doubtful. Blu-ray is not a big enough market yet for stores to use BDs as loss leaders.

I saw a post over at HTF - the four new releases in two two packs for $12.99 plus the older releases.

So you get two films for $12.99 - great deal.

The Major and the Minor/She Done Him Wrong
Easy Living/Midnight
The Heiress/Going My Way
Scarface/No Man of Her Own
All Quiet on the Western Front/So Proudly We Hail!
Arabian Nights/Unconquered

Mine didn't have any SNL season sets.

I picked up Two and a Half Men (only 2 left so you had to dig) for $18.99.

Noticed some Complete series sets of Seinfeld. New Blu-Ray disc releases.

In past years they've had great deals on box sets for Mothers Day and Fathers Day. Looks like we're probably not getting any deals for Mothers Day this year, huh?
