Thanks for posting the photos. Now I know what to look for. No luck yesterday at the Claymont, DE location at Tri State Mall.

BTW - I just stopped by another quasi-rural DG in South Central Indiana (in the big town of Odon), and while I couldn't find the Gladiator set there, I did find the "Scene It" 007 Edition for $5 that I knew a few folks were looking for at one time. I grabbed one, and there was one more on the shelf. If anyone wants it, post something... I'll also go scour older posts to see who wanted it.

Found one copy at the DG next to Big Lots on Brainerd Rd - Chattanooga, TN

I was just about to give up when I turned around and they were there. Look towards the back - I;m going to hit another store tomorrow.

Man, I never thought I would have to compete with another board member for the Odon Dollar Store, lol.

FOr those who can't find it at Dollar General, you can now find it on Amazon for 9 bucks. Idiot sellers in price wars have brought the value way down. By the end of the week, it will be down to 5 bucks on there. lol

I was going to cash in my Pepsi points for this -- guess I've got some hunting to do tomorrow!

Am I the only one that has found 2 or more of these? Lets see who can get the record.

And before anyone gets in a huff, the other copy I found went to my brother.

Has anyone seen more than one copy in a single store? I think they all only got 1 each.

Odon, IN.... not quite the end of the world but you can see it from there.

Not to fret, you take Odon, I'll take Bloomfield.

I did stop in this morning to see if anything had changed. I did notice some of the mentioned DVDs on an endcap but no display. We rarely get anything mentioned in the deals here.

I found a copy at a Dollar General in Clarksville, AR. Another town about 40 something minutes away called Morrilton also had a couple of days ago but left that one sitting there.

I stopped by a couple of stores in the Parma OH area and found one copy (which I decided not to pick up). Like everyone else each store seems to have only one copy of it.

No luck at the DG on Rte 23 in Morgantown, PA. One per store isn't very good odds on this...

Please forgive my ignorance, but I'm not familiar with either of these roads. How would I get there from Rte 23 at Morgantown, PA?

Went into the Lightfoot (Williamsburg) VA location today and after looking around aimlessly for 10 minutes I found the dvd section right before I was getting ready to leave the store.

I found 1 copy of "Gladiator" for $5, a boxset of the show "Miracles" (never heard of it but it sounds interesting and is apparently $40+ on amazon) for $10, and grabbed the two copies they had of Margaret Cho's old sitcom "American Girl" for $10 for my *** and his hag.

Has anyone determined why these are showing up for $5 at Dollar General while they're still $30+ elsewhere?
