Great deal. I just saw these as well and completed my collection with Vol 3-5. This is a couple of dollars cheaper on the great deal the DD was offering a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to that thread, when I saw the price on these DVDs at Costco, I jumped right on it.

Shoot - bought V. 5 at DD a few weeks ago. Oh well. Now I'm hoping for a deal on the first Popeye set...

Though I felt bad about this lower Costco price at first having had my Vol. 5 just ship from DDD for $26.89, by the time I add tax on $23.99 the difference is only $1.06, and considering the gas and time I saved not going to Costco, DDD was a better deal as long as it arrives undamaged.

I was waiting for Looney Tunes Golden Collections Vol 5 to go down in price at Costco and it was worth the wait.

For those that don't have a Costco near them, I saw volume 1 today at Sam's Club for $24.72. I didn't see the other volumes, but I didn't specifically look for them.

I need to pick up Vol. 5, but I don't have a costco membership. Wonder if Sam's will match...

I'm not 100% positive, but I think that Costco will give you a 1 day shopping pass where you would have to pay 5% more. So it would cost you an additional $1.20.

Didn't think this was worth a new thread, but I found vol. 5 for $24.88 at Sam's yesterday (Jackson, MI).

Does anyone know how long this sale is going to last?

Also, I wonder if Best Buy will price match. I'll probably check out Sam's Club and see if they have the sets at around the same price, because that is one heck of a bargain considering how expensive they all are originally.

I have the first volume. Which one of the later sets is the best collection?

I remember reading there was a problem with one of the sets.

Does anyone remember which volume it was?

"For those who didn't know, Warner Bros. has quietly issued a replacement disk for Looney Tunes gold collection set 2, disk 4. The original problem with this disk was that a number of the shorts were interlaced.

If you're interested in a replacement, please contact Warner Home Video at 1-800-553-6937 so that a self-addressed stamped envelope can be sent to you for return of your current disc. Please note that the replacement disc will be sent to you in approximately 2-4 weeks."

Came home and read the thread again. Guess this is why I didn't find the sets at my costco today. Missed the "at Sam's" part of your message.

I wonder if Costco will restock the box set of all 5 volumes for the holidays at a lower price than the current deal.

Probably when the 6th set is released in November.
