I would not wait on this sale. A lot of the titles are shrinking down in numbers.

Sucks I missed out on the Mezzo artbox, it was in my cart and everything but when I went to check out, poof, gone. Then my cart was cleared out so I had to scramble and put everything back in. Ugh, I like RightStuf, don't get me wrong, but their cart system, can't say I care for it very much. >_

As a consolation, I ordered the Mezzo art box during the last sale (even though I already owned Vol. 1 on its own), and it arrived crushed, so it was pretty worthless. I didn't bother trying to get it replaced.

i know this is the anime BARGAINS thread...but can anyone recommend any other anime that would be excellent enough to add to my cart that's included in this sale?

Sweet, I checked back few minutes ago and the artbox was back in stock! So I quickly put in the same order except of Mezzo vol. 1 I bought vol 1 with Artbox. I already put in a cancellation request to RightStuf for the previous order, I know they're busy now but they only charge cards when the order ships so I should be okay.

justbarelymovin, that sucks about the artbox! If I had read that before placing the other order I probably would not have bothered. >_< Like you I doubt I would have tried to get a replacement, too much of a hassle.

This is tempting. My problem is ADV does such a great job with their thinpack collections, I'm thinking I'd rather wait for a studio sale and save the shelf space. Decisions, decisions...

I placed an order with them the other day for Paprika, Hellboy, a drums DVD, and a CD. 3 shipped the next day (still waiting for Hellboy to ship) but I couldn't help but laugh when I got 3 separate e-mails telling me each individual item shipped.

At least their canned e-mails have enthusiasm .

If you're at all worried, you should give them a call. They have great CS and are always willing to help out. Any time I've placed an order and either want to cancel or have something replaced, I just make a quick call.

That's a great idea, I went ahead and did that but after awhile I got an automated voice telling me that all customer service reps are busy with other customers right now. I think I'll try later though.

I dunno, I'm a little disappointed this time. There's really nothing new thatw asn't available in the last sale. UB World seems new, and they finished out a couple series like Loki and Moby. But I was hoping to see the opening to a couple new series. And some are actually an increase. Steam Detectives was going for $3 in the bargin bin at one point.

Most of the thinpak releases in the past few years for ADV series have little or nothing in the way of extras, so if you like the extras, you may want to take that under consideration.

I'm probably going to make 3 orders myself, getting titles I missed when the last one ended prematurely and getting the stuff not on sale last time should fill that out pretty quickly.

No. I would be thrilled if they ever did a Bandai or Funi abundance sale.

I chuckled when I saw Gasaraki in there, kind of weird to buy the 8 discs at $5 a piece instead of just the Box set at $35 (which is back in stock I see, need to get it this time). Though I guess if you do the 25 disc deal it's good. (Plus for the few that have an odd volume here or there)

Well, I couldn't find anything in this sale to buy. I bought 35 titles in the last sale, and haven't watched more than a couple of them. My girlfriend didn't like Vermillion Pleasure Night, and it sank in that maybe buying random "interesting-sounding" Japanese DVDs isn't worth the shelf space.

With insane sales like this, what are you guys doing for storage space? I've been buying steel DVD cabinets.. I have about 2,400 DVD capacity now, and even that is filling up

edit: Btw, Super Milk Chan 1-4, and Elfen Lied 1-4 are highly recommended from me!
