Going HD has been extremely cheap. I was okay with the $18 or so I was averaging at first, but I have picked up many discs latey for $8-$10. The big benefit of this format war has been cheap hardware and cheap movies. Competition rules.

Now if that cheap hardware were to hit Blu-ray players it would be great. I've been buying Blu-ray discs but have nothing to play them on.

I agree, well I haven't bother to buy blu-ray movies with the good deals even tho I know I'll end up getting blu-ray player within the next year but $400 for ps3, its just hard to stomach when u can get hd-dvd players as low as $100-150
