Ugh, these look pretty much like the leftover dregs from the original sale, except for the addition of the Potters. This looks like less than half of what was available when the last sale began...

Still wish I hadn't missed that one until after most of the good ones were redacted. Wherefore art thou, Corpse Bride...

Yeah, I got Hot Fuzz and Breach this time around. I don't think Hot Fuzz was on the last B1G1.

both Casino and Lebowski are great, i don't know if it is worth double dipping the other 2. It's really up to you how much you are interested in those movies. To me Serenity is worth an upgrade, knocked up not.

Haven't seen Knocked Up or Lebowski on HD yet (but ordered Lebowski today). But Casino is "ok" as far as upgrading to HD. Colors are more pronounced, but you won't see the "HD Pop" if you're looking for it--it's still better than the SD DVD version, but not as much as many other HD movies. Maybe in a few scenes Casino really shines (such as outside shots and a few shots of the inside Casino lighting), but it's not consistent.

With Serenity you will seen instant difference. It's the best transfer yet. And worth an upgrade.

Hot Fuzz might be the best Universal HD release yet.

Got both as well. Paired them up with Assault on Precinct 13 -&- Jarhead - so as to maximize the dvdsave coupon usage.

And no, Hot Fuzz was not in the last sale. Otherwise, I'd be enjoying it now.

Wow, you CAN type more than a two-letter word as a so-called complete response! I shall never doubt your cogitative skills and ability to back up your statements ever again.

Picked up Serenity (to go along with the original and collector's edition) and Hot Fuzz. It's only missing a couple of the features from the 3-disc release (I really wanna listen to the Tarantino commentary) but too good of a deal to pass up.

The 10% discount was a reward for buying HD titles back in 2006. Amazon gave an extra 10% off for all HD orders in 2007 if you bought HD in 2006. The $5 off of $50 coupon is if you have an Amazon Visa card.

Quite the contrary. In addition to the four Harry Potter HD DVDs there are a number of other titles such as Hot Fuzz, Big Lebowski and Breach that haven't been a part of the Amazon BOGOF sale before, so far as I have seen. This list complements the last sale quite well.

I read a couple reviews on each Harry Potter HD-DVD to see if it was worth re-buying them for $10 each. It seems each one has better picture quality (as expected) and the same (or fewer) extras. Having just watched my first 2 HD-DVDs ever (Transformers and Shrek the Third), the HD-DVD picture quality is impressive but not so impressive that I could justify re-buying everything even at $10 each. For the most part I'm only going to buy HD-DVDs of movies I don't already have on SD DVD, so I hope Amazon's future B1G1F deals will include more new releases.

I agree with Manzana.
So far I'm trying to get only movies that will really show the difference. I just picked up Sneakers new off e-bay for $8 total. Its one of those movies I've always liked. Anyway after watching it, I'm like I didn't need it. HD just didn't make it stand out. Considering I've got 600+ sd dvd's, I'm only going to get old stuff that really shines on HD. I had been looking for Dante's Peak, Backdraft & Waterworld on e-bay under $10. So I was jumping to get to the web site last night. After putting them in my cart I stopped. Even at $8.99 each I really don't need them.
I think I'm just going back to Netflix and renting the old stuff I will only watch 1 or 2 times a year.
Now Dragonheart & Top Gun HD I will get if cheap enough..

Is anyone else having problems with the cart not reflecting the BOGO offer? I have two Harry Potters in my cart and neither one is reflecting the discount.

jpb07 a lot of people had problem during the 1st sale.
I would go ahead & order them pay full $$ and e-mail Amazon. They are 1st rate issuing refunds & fixing orders. That way they won't be sold out by the time you figure out whats wrong...

to the right of this web page is the e-mail links
