I understand that briefase version is serial numbered limited edition gift pack. So, is there a risk that it gets OOP/OOS by the time DD's 20% sale happens in June ?

yes, of course there is a risk. there is also a risk that DD won't have the 20% sale in june... i'd encourage you to get it now if it is something you want to have.

For the 5-disc HD-DVD or Blu-Ray non-suitcase version, has anyone found a better price than $27.95 at Amazon or a little cheaper at FYE (after mail-in rebate and BSP discount)?

I'm debating whether I should order now at Amazon or FYE or try to see if there are any better deals?

So, the only way to get the 5th disc on regular DVD is to buy the briefcase version of it? There's no non-briefcase 5-disc set like the one for HD?

Man I hope I get a few giftcards from some people this weekend...

Unfortunately, yes.

If you use the 25% coupon at B&N and have a member discount, the briefcase in BD or HD comes to just under $65. Not bad, not great. SD version is a little better, with the coupon and member discount bringing it down to around $41.50. But if ordering from bn it should get to you sooner than if you ordered from warner directly.

I preordered mine on FYE to use the $10 mail in rebate. Also used some 15% off code I found online and saved another $8. Should only cost me about $38 when done.

Yes, Buy.com has it for $27.94. And if you use a google checkout account for the first time it's $10 off that price.

I'm 95% sure that Borders is going to be having another 40% off DVD Boxset Sale next week (Mon & Tues). If this ends up being so, Borders could be a cheap place to pick it up for Borders Rewards members.

$27.94 - $10, assuming that the price doesn't go up before it changes from "pre-order" to "in-stock". GCO doesn't work for pre-orders and Buy.com often raises the prices of items once they are in stock.

Could you post that 15% off FYE code, and if so are there restrictions on its use (like Mastercard only, new members, etc.)?

With 15% on top of Backstage Pass 10% and the rebate, that would seal the deal to preorder it at FYE.

The 40% DVD boxset coupon is on the 18th and 19th; there is a 40% CD boxset coupon the two days prior. The Blade Runner set is $39.99, though, so even with the coupon it's $25 + tax.

There was a 15% off code from a few weeks ago(SHOPSAVE15) that has expired. It was only good for in-stock items though. I'm unaware of any other 15% off codes. If anyone knows of one, then please do post it!
