Well, they don't guarantee the best price available in the country on every DVD, do they? If they are beaten on an item you're interested in, you don't order it. That's always applicable in any of the DD or DVDplanet sales. But on the 5 or so HD-DVDs that I ordered, right now they are not available anywhere else cheaper.

Well the 20% does matter in the latter case, as you don't pay tax at DD but you would at WalMart...

Thanks for the idea, but it did not work for me. However, I've been using Mozilla Firefox. I switched over to IE, and the problem immediately went away.

edit: spoke too soon, after putting maybe 5 items in my cart, I get the same error message, and can't seem to do anything else. I think I'll give up trying to make a purchase today, and try during the week when hopefully the servers will be less busy.

I think I will wait until Tuesday to order...I really want Berlin Alexanderplatz and it is priced significantly lower at DVDPlanet vs DDD.

It actually doesn't, although the wording isn't real clear. They mean each coupon code can be used only one per customer/family/address/e-mail address/account, during each sale. It doesn't mean you can't use a coupon more than once during each sale. If it did, many of us here would be a lot richer.

There's over a dozen codes out there, so you should only need to use each code once anyway (unless you have a really serious addiction problem ).

Edit: Oops, thought I was in the DD thread.

Same rules as the DDD sale. However, after searching around a bit I only found the one code for DVDPlanet. I want to be sure there are others before I use it up!
