Do you have to get at least one Disney/Sony title for this to work or is it a free-for-all?

Title has to be below 29.99 to qualify.

SWEET!
Hmm... should have tried to scan the Matrix box set then, or some TV seasons.

All titles, you're not restricted to buying a sony or disney title first, you just have to get matching prices. Also, I think the FOX titles are now included (I've heard_ but I havent tried it myself yet. The deal is still going on, get em while you can guys. Happy hunting.

Yeah I hope this works tomorrow too. Although I wasn't extremely pleased with Transformers, nor did I want to buy it, but I do want to buy Return to House on Haunted Hill and if this deal is still good tomorrow I will pick up Transformers as well.

Do $29.99 titles work, or just BELOW that price? I guess I don't care until tomorrow anyways.

I went to CC and I couldn't find anything I wanted. That's the problem with already buying everything you want.

They did have The Day After Tomorrow but I really wanted Edward Scissorhands.

Fox titles do work with this deal. Just got Robocop BD, 28 Days Later BD, Reservoir Dogs BD and 12 Monkeys HD for $55.

Three of those were priced $29.99, so I'm not sure if it works for titles priced higher.

29.99 titles do work but Fox catalog titles at 34.99 do not work.

WOW! I just got back from a CC in nashville... picked up Basic Instinct, Memento, Hitch Hikers Guide to Galaxy, Fugitive, Terminator, Terminator 2, Total Recall, Surf's Up, Scanner Darkly, Scooby Doo, Corpse Bride, Queen, Vacancy, Reservoir Dogs, Superman 2, and Superman Returns! I'm thrilled! pretty much got every title they had in stock that I didn't already have and wanted... now already planning to hit another location tonight on the way home from work! Thanks big time to the original poster of this one! (I knew about the sale with the specified titles because I got a few of those yesterday, but never dreamed to try titles not on the list!)

I just got back from CC in Boise and it worked fine both on HD and BD. Everything I tried was either 29.99 or 24.99 and it worked like a charm. Eight movies for about $105, good deal.

Tried this with We Are Marshall and Happy Feet (both HD-DVD). No go for me, all came up at regular price. Also tried Day After Tomorrow (Blu-Ray) by itself, came out to $29.99.

Title should be changed to reflect HD-DVD AND Bluray.

Are the HD-DVDs ringing up 1/2 price or is the first one $29.99 and the second $0? I ask because my CC doesnt have a scan. i would have to keep asking the cashier to check the price.

I noticed you're in OC, which one did you go to? My brother went to the Buena Park store and the manager overrode the deal so he had to pay full price. He will return it later.

I went to the Huntington Beach store and it went through! I got 4 HD titles: MI: 3, Shooter, Dawn of the Dead and Perfect Storm for a total of $59.22. 2 were $29.99 and the other 2 were $24.99.

I'm thinking both of your HD's came out at a regular price because they were $34.99. Day After Tomorrow didn't work because you need to buy 2 to get the discount "Buy one get one free".

I went to the one in Laguna Hills, CA. That's what I was thinking as well, now reading these recent posts that one of them was $34.99 (I just saw the total). I tried just the 1 Blu-Ray because that was the only one that I wanted and was hoping that it might come out half price by itself. Oh well, it was worth a try.

You need to scan both to get the discount, they ring up individually at regular price. On the receipt it lists both DVDs at half price after the adjustment is made.

If mixing DVD's with different prices, do we need to split up the order to get the best savings? Meaning, if you buy two 29.99 titles and two 24.99 titles, will it make both of the 24.99 titles the freebies (thus meaning you should purchase the 24.99 and 29.99 titles separates)?

Also, anyone know of any printable in-store coupons? They have been having a lot of $15 off $100+ coupons in the past few months, but I can't find any right now...
