Is the bonus an in store exclusive or is it available in all editions? Or just certain specially marked editions?

Just curious if I order this online from amazon.com if I will get the bonus disc.

Wal-Mart in Belleville, Michigan had it for $13. But I thought it was only six episodes, so didn't bother.

That's why it's so cheap! But there are decent extra features, and the bonus disc is, well, a bonus! Otherwise get it at familyvideo.com for $8.79 shipped as suggested earlier in the thread...

Yeah, she's not that bad in the show, but I don't see paying a premium for a truncated season.

It's not a truncated season, just a short one. Something is truncated when part of it is removed to make it smaller. Just sayin'.

No problem finding this. Saw it at Target, but picked it up (w/ the bonus disc) at Best Buy last night. For some reason, we are have a tax free weekend in VA, so I saved a few pennies with that.

The Fairfield, CA Best Buy had plenty yesterday. I don't know if anyone posted this, but the bonus disc is a Best of Sarah Silverman complilation, with all of her CC Roast appearances (two actual appearances, with one pre-taped appearance for the Shatner roast) and about 5-6 of her crank yankers bits. The whole thing is 28 minutes.
For those that are confused, season 1 was/is always 6 episodes, but it's loaded with audio commentaries (more than 6), I haven't listened to them yet. There's also a bunch of her CC.com song performances, and some other random special features.

Does this have a cardboard slip-cover a la Arrested Development: Season 3 or HBO's THE COMEBACK?

Yeah, she's not that bad in the show, but I don't see paying a premium for a truncated season.
As stated, season 1 was just 6 episodes. Based on price per episode ($19.99 MSRP - 6 episodes) it's no different than South Park ($49.99 MSRP - 14 episodes) for example.

I personally can't stand Jesus is Magic and her stand-up isn't really funny to me. The show is a different matter. I find it very humorous and the character she plays is just so horribly bad. I think the biggest laugh I got was in the season finale when she sleeps with GOD and then the next morning she's trying to get out of seeing him again "Can I have your cell number?" "I don't have a cell phone..." *ring* *ring* "Oh, I have this like... this blackberry, like a palm-piloty thing... would you even call that a phone..?"

Taking shots at Briney and Paris isn't something one should rip on her for doing... They deserve any public humiliation they get, IMHO. You don't want people taking shots at you, don't be a trashy celebrity who drives drunk and publicly shaves your head when you have breakdowns.

The copies I saw at Best Buy were all clear keep-cases.

Calhoun--From all I've read, it's a Best Buy exclusive, and they're specially marked with a sticker on the outside of the DVD case.

Thanks for the info. When it comes to certain titles I really prefer to have the slipcover. Usually it's only ones where the slipcover is different in any way (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 has a chainsaw on the slipcover, and severed limbs on the keep-case below -- the new collector's edition of Invasion of the Body Snatchers has a cast shot on the back, but the keep-case is a different picture of some generic "pod-people" shadows,. etc). Sometimes when I order a title online that was released with a slip-cover I'll get one, sometimes I don't. It's good to know this one probably didn't get a slip-cover anywhere. Kind of weird to have a clear keep-case. It's neat, however.
