I would have missed that inclusion had you not mentioned it. Might have to work a deal for that set.

I really recommend Longitude if you don't have it. Expensive sucker for a movie ($26.xx), but it's pretty informative A&E docudrama about the invention of the nautical compass (can't think of the proper term off-hand).

Also, you might checkout History Channel's WWII Ultimate Collections set, but I can't remember if they are exceptionally good or not.

Thanks for the heads up, HE! Heading that way now to place some orders (have a friend whose mom is a MAJOR Dr. Quinn fan). Missed the Emma Peel set last time around...some fine stuff here.

Highly recommend THE SAINT megaset (and I loathed Roger Moore as 007), SECRET AGENT megaset, DANGER UXB, NERO WOLFE, & a host of others. Also recommend History Channel (DOGFIGHTS, CIVIL WAR).

Forgot about DANGER UXB. Damn it. And the holidays aren't even here yet.

Julias Caesar's Rome, Emma Peel and a few others for me. I remember when the lastB1G1 A&E sale ended the 20%off sale started so i'm not sure how much i want to spend here just in case.

Good point. Btw, World At War has a ship date of 10/8/2007 and is not "in stock".

I got that one with the last sale; but haven't gotten around to opening it or watching it yet.

I don't understand why they use so many discs on these A & E sets. The prisoner Mega set only has 187 episodes but it takes up 10 discs. Others are worse than that. Jeeves and Wooster is on 8 discs but they don't use slim cases. These sets take up so much room on my shelves and must cost a lot to ship.

How many discs is WaW? 11? As long they aren't flippers. Oh, and I think this is the 2004 release version. There was a 2001 edition which didn't have the 11th DVD.

The 11 discs appear to come in slimcases, which means floaters are also less likely!

The one I got with the last sale was the 11 disc set with 22 hours of material.

Yeah, it's one of the best available. I've seen only scattered episodes but really enjoyed it. Do take note, the series sometimes gets on a roll and briefly mentions some major events (so you have to follow closely), just because of the nature of squeezing all the history into this series.

Went ahead and got Danger UXB and Shaka Zulu as well.

dang, I have been waiting for this sale to pick up Prisoner and World at War, but of course the Prisoner Megaset isn't available this time. :(

Picked up Complete Emma Peel and Complete Danger Man - thanks for the heads up as I've been meaning to get these for some time now! This is getting me ready to pull the trigger on the Man From U.N.C.L.E. set just announced!

I remember enjoying "Reilly: Ace of Spies" when it first came out on PBS. Excerpt of the description:
