Amazon has the upcoming(November 6) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Volume 4 Limited Edition for $22.49. It's the same price as the regular edition, so methinks that it's a price mistake. This is a great deal because the list price on this baby is $59.99. The limited edition includes an iron-on, a pillow case, a pencil board, the Haruhi No Tsumewawase CD and a bonus DVD that contains episodes 11-14 in the original TV broadcast order(the bonus DVD is subtitled only-no dub).

I went for the Mahoromatic Summer Special for $7.99 to get the free shipping. I got the rest of the series during the ADV 25 for $100 liquidation at RS, but I didn't have an extra slot to get the Summer Special.

Seems like it has been delisted from Amazon? A search yields nothing on the vol 4 LE.

Edit: Nevermind, found it through other terms.

Nuts! I didn't even think of checking the MSRP when I was trying to figure out what they did "wrong". Thanks for the info!

Question...should i wait for the DD sale to happen in November before i buy Twelve Kingdoms Collections 1 & 2? Or will the price of it most likely go up by then?
I already know about that. I haven't updated it yet though!

I personally really liked Twelve Kingdoms. I personally would wait for the DD sale in November unless you really want to watch this series. The price shouldn't change too much and unless they remove Media Blasters titles it should be fine.

I preordered mine from TRSI. I'm stick with my order there, since it might be a Amazon.com pricing error.

Most of the TRSI 3-Day sales are like this, but saving some money maybe a good thing from time to time!

Last year the sale occurred during early November. My first order was on November 9th, which I believe was the first day of the sale.

Rather than asking on forums about the Trinity Blood V1 Box, i sent an email to TRSI, heres the response i got:

Not very reassuring, but i guess its better than one saying 'sorry, no more TB boxes, your screwed'.

I checked four FYE stores (all of them within an hour of where I live) and I finally found a Basilisk Vol 3 LE at the last one. I found the Trinity Blood Vol 2 LE at the first one, so that completes those sets if the TB Vol 1 LE Box ever ships from TRSI. Do you have any FYE stores near you? I know I've seen a few TB Vol 5 LEs.

If you were to buy the melancholy of haruhi LEs, would you (anyone in the thread, really) wait till DDD 20% off? or could there possibly be something more promising?

For the ones that bought it, what did you personally do?

I bought the first one from Amazon and the second one from TRSI since they had a 20% off.

Though I was always in love with the series and wasn't gonna be able to wait til better discounts anyways (especially since the LEs are the only way to get the series in broadcast order)

The problem with waiting is that they are LEs, Limited Editions. They may not be available in a couple of months.
