You know the price isn’t that bad when you consider the cost of a second-hand film print costing around £1500. There are still some shops around the UK selling it at retail price which is a little too much when the price should have dropped.
Supply and demand is what it’s all about.
And if you thought the DVD was costly the THX laserdisc import from Japan cost me around £130.00 pounds 6 ½ years ago, now then, and that is the original theatrical version first film to support Dolby digital-EX encoding LOL, EX is just a new word for (extension surround) and will work with just about any film with (split-surrounds) in fact any matrix decoder. The DVD was a bonus with the extra pod race footage.

Earlier today, I received a cancellation email.
Just now, I received a "Your order has shipped" email.
Mixed signals, eh. I guess I'll have to wait to see if it arrives, and if Amazon charges me extra.

I'm not sure why it astounds me that Amazon screwed up this badly again after the B1G1 free fiasco, but I sure as hell stayed away from this after going through that nonsense. Good luck to those brave enough to give this a shot, I have no idea what Amazon's reasoning for charging a different price for these DVDs could possibly be.

Got cancellation notice-Here is what I am thinking..I ordered other stuff with it to get free shipping. I think Amazon intentionally prices things ridiculously low from time to time to test what happens and to make sales from people like me who just go ahead with rest of order. The other stuff I would have bought sooner or later but not neccessarily with Amazon. it is kinda like a "loss leader" sale to bring in people to your store but you don't have to honor the sale like at a Brick and Mortar",you just say"sorry price mistake"your order is cancelled" but we know a lot of you will keep the other order going muahahahahahaha..I definitely sense something sinister...

I'm thinking it's some sort of test as well. They want to know who watches their prices. And where the clicks come from...

Some people are still having issues with Amazon over this situation. There was quite a moral debate on this site that lasted for months!
Yep, I was fully charged for every item that I purchased in this sale. There is no free ride on Amazon.
