Make sure you don't pay much more than $5 for even the original--the disc looks like crap and isn't OAR (I don't know if Bluth's studio drew for full frame home releases, and wouldn't be surprised--but it looks like crap either way, even if it's a studio/creator-accepted alternate AR)

FWIW, this one was in the kids section at my Walmart today with some other $5 titles, including Ultimate Avengers and I think some superman title. There as also a Batman and Scooby Doo disc.

This is YMMV obviously, but I found the "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" set bundled with the three Pez dispensers for $9.96 at my local Walmart today, and it was the Widescreen version of the movie, which pleased me. The standard version was still marked at $19.96. Yeah, it might be cheaper on the used market, but with the exclusives especially, this is a pretty good deal for a brand new copy.

Today at Wal-Mart, I picked up a copy of "Captain Kronos, Vampire Hunter" (PAR) for $5.00 It was part of a vampire/horror display that included the MGM Midnight Movies combo of "Countess Dracula" and "The Vampire Lovers". The double feature was $7.50.
Also part of the display was the Universal "Dracula" Legacy set and "The Wolf Man" Legacy set for $14.99 each.
There was also a section of $11 triple features featuring John Wayne's early WB films like "Haunted Gold" and a Randolph Scott triple feature (the one featuring "Colt .45" (one of my favorites).

I picked it up last month at WM in the 3 pack that had Death Wish/Uncommon Valor/Escape from Alcatraz for only $5 for all 3...
I did notice today WM had the 2-disk Labyrinth (Anniversary Edition) for ONly $9.00
Pretty good deal considering the list price is still $25.
ALso WM had the new releases of the Original "Witch Mountain films" in the new release section with the Movie CASh code (for the new remake) on the outside of the packaging in a little coupon...Similar to the quantum of Solace deal last year. SO anyone wanting to see the new Witch Mountain movie for free can do so...

Also, Cloverfield for $20 is decent (I saw it for $30 at Target) but what I did was use the coupon found on eagle eye a few months back ($10 off BDs - found two more coupons today at Target on Eagle Eye) and you can pick up Cloverfield BD for $10.
