Baby Einstein complete collection for $78

I ordered this - 23 Baby Einstein DVDs, which may not be absolutely all of them, but is at least most - and received it quickly. I would caution that there is a user comment under the item that indicates they may not be great on the customer service end, so be careful when you order (to get your information correct).

Could these be ones made in China?

I can't see anything on the packaging that would indicate that they are. The outside looks official and the discs inside are identical to the ones in a set that I have (which I will now give away as a gift).

One thing people should take note of. Its a small package that's about the size of a season set of a TV show. There are no liner notes and the discs themselves are in a somewhat flimsy bit of packaging. It's connected (flimsy) sleaves... We are going to get a small case logic book to transfer them to for every day use.

For me this is OK b/c it's not like Baby Einstein is something I'd care that much about in terms of collecting... I'm psyched to have so many different choices now to show my kids.

$3.40 per DVD.

Hope that helps.

I'm like 99.9% certain those are fakes.

Go the official site. If you do not see that product on there, it is fake.

My wife got a set from eBay a year back. It was in a nice sturdy packaging but inside the dvd's were in dvd sleeves like you would put in a notebook. They had chinese writing on them. Those were definetly fakes.

Chinese writing does not always indicate fake.

Still, I'd stay away for these.

Just so as it's clear, there is no chinese writing on these. With that said, I guess its possible it could be a knockoff. The printing on the disc isn't the same ink, although they look close.

All well. They do play fine, but if people think they're fakes, then they shouldn't buy them.

This is the set we just received as a gift. Only difference is that the Region icon on the back of it says "1".

The front of the box flips open and all the disks are in those white sleeve pages.

Is this a legitimate set?

It's the same one that I bought, but the consensus seems to be that it isn't.
