I'm glad I sold my used DVDs to them before the Quote Machine went down. The prices they are offering now are around 1/3rd less than before.

coupon code

Is there more than one coupon code for the DVD planet 25 off sale? I've already used the 25offsale code.

I and others have successfully used SAVE and SALE. YMMV.

I can't believe how shockingly low they changed there rates, too. Just awful...I was even putting in new releases like Hellboy 2 and they are only going to be catching $5.99. Well, it was fun while it lasted.

As of 20 minutes ago neither worked for me.

Am I wrong in remembering they've done this before and they've gone back up again?

Couldn't they have adjusted this either to discourage MASSIVE floods of shipments trying to take advantage of this sale and/or that they simply have a lot of stock now and when they move it and/or the sale ends, couldn't it just go back to normal?

I could have sworn they've gone down before like this only to go up again. No one else remembers this?

Why the coupon restriction at DVP this time?

"Sale" shows up as expired for me.
"Save" applies to my account again even though I have already used it, but the warning about removing any re-used coupons made me hesitant to use it again.
"25OFFSALE" says This coupon has already been used.

I'm wondering when they are going to fix this "glitch" with the codes - we've already read about others who (myself included) talked with someone at DVDP who said they had fixed the codes to be reusable. I'm hoping we'll see some action on Monday when "regular business hours" return.

Question.

I have two DVD Planet accounts*, each with earned bonus points. Does anyone know if DVD Planet will consolidate both accounts?

* From back when Digital Eyes merged with DVD Planet.

Call them - I had a similar problem and they merged my accounts a while back.

Does anyone know if they'll put up the regular 15 off 175 coupon for this month? I'm about to make a $270 order and was hoping I can combine 25offsale with 15nov.

Someone earlier in this (?) thread said they heard they were going to put the coupons out - but that was a week ago.

SkullOrchard - DVDPlanet can definitely merge your accounts. They've done this for me too.

Phod,

I'm having problems, too -- keep getting error pages. They are never a very fast site at their best, though.

It seems to be particularly buggy today for some reason - I've had problems all morning.

I was told officially today that last week's info was wrong and that there would be NO coupons for the month of November.

The "big" sale was the reason that I was given. They did say they'd be back in January, but 12/2 is a huge day, at least for me, and you likely won't be able to use December's coupons even for that, because they won't be out by the 2nd.

There's only one place to enter a coupon code, so even if the regular monthly coupon codes were available you wouldn't be able to combine the sale codes -- you'd have to choose one. And since the 25% off code is better, it doesn't make sense for them to even offer the monthly codes during the sale.

Not me. If someone does receive it, I'm curious to know if they used store credit or not. My two orders were entirely covered by store credit, resulting in an "order total" of $0.00. I'm hoping this doesn't confuse Cashbaq.

Cashbaq won't rebate for use of store credit. I placed an order that used up my store credit plus an additional $1.03, and cashbaq credited me $0.04. The credit for this transaction as well as a later (all cash) one was posted to my account within 24 hours, but unlike Live Cashback, there was no accompanying email notification.

Does anyone know much about DVDPlanet's "Frequent Buyer Points" program? When do points accrue? etc...
