I checked my copy of the 2-disc "Deluxe Edition" of Leon, and it is indeed Superbit.

I saw no sign of this display at 2 different Wal-Marts this morning.

I did see a different one though that had some new $5.50 movies in it, including:

Thinner
Wonderland
Bound
Dead Alive
The Doors (SE)
T2 (Extreme)
Glengarry Glen ross

I saw this as well. They also had the following:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Original Series) Volumes 4 and 5
House of 1,000 Corpses
Dead Man Walk
2 other Stephen Kings movies/mini-series. I can't remember the titles. I think one was like Red Set and the other had "Bullet" in the title...I think.

There were some others, but that's all that I can remember right now. The top of the display said something like "Sizzlin' deals"

Found the new $4.88 display, went mad trying to dig under to the hidden layer to find "Groundhogs Day," but to no avail.

But then I was distracted by all the new titles in the $5.50 bin, so ended up with:

Fun with Dick and Jane $4.88
Glengarrry Glen Ross: 10 Year Ann. $5.50
John Wayne 20 Movie Pack $5.50
Kids $5.50
Coogan's Bluff $5.50

I actually had picked out more than twice that but had to cut back due to budget restraints.

I found the Universal Western Collection version of The Far Country in a $5.50 bin, (Dir. by Anthony Mann, starring Jimmy Stewart) but couldn't find any other titles from the collection. I hate those stupid bargain bins. They're such a pain to look through, and it seemed all the decent titles that didn't have 20+ copies
were strewn across the bottom of the bin never to be found. I might have to go back sometime this week to see if I can spot any of the titles you're all listing.

Wow, I finally got MiB Limited Edition! I kicked myself that I didn't pick this up when it was first released, now I am glad I missed it the first time!

I walked into Walmart this AM and they had just dropped the pallet. I searched all through the display for the above movie (plenty of the single disc version) and was about to give up when I noticed 2 copies in the middle of the display! They also had two Leon and two Starship Troopers Superbits.

Thanks, OP!

The only other Universal Western Collection title I've recently seen in the Walmart $5.50 bin was Shenandoah (also a Jimmy Stewart film).

Um.... I don't know, it says 133 minutes, and it is called Leon the Professional and not just The Professional like the regular version seen everywhere else.

That's the International cut. The other cut is over 20 minutes shorter, and to the best of my knowledge, has never been released under the Leon name, it's always just "The Professional".

I grabbed the only Leon they had this morning (I didn't have that movie yet), and one of the two Starship Troopers they had (even though I have the 2-disk). I almost bought the only MIB Limited Edition they had, but I never watch the original version I have and decided to pass. They had tons of the DTS one too.

Is is a big difference between the Superbit Starship Troopers and the 2-disk version? I want to know if its worth keeping both. I only have a 36" regular TV.

CRAP, I thought the DTS one was the LE. What does the LE look like? How do I tell the difference?

The LE is 2-disk and comes in a solid black box with just the title on the front in reflective silver. No DTS though. I never watch the version I have, so I saw no reason to upgrade to either one.

The southernmost WM on 82nd Ave in Portland didn't have a specific $4.88 display. However, I did find "In Good Company" at that price in the bin. Also, "Far From Heaven" and "Gosford Park" at $5.50

I went back this morning. The other Starship Troopers Superbit was gone, but surprisingly the one lone MIB Limited Edition was still there. I figured it had to be destiny, so I bought it, not even sure if I want to keep it or not. They still had plenty of the DTS ones. Anyone have a comparison between the DTS and Dolby 5.1 tracks for this movie?

I also tried digging to the second layer down and saw they also had 8MM, Blue Thunder, and Stripes (1st pressing) in that layer.

Anyone know if that Stan Lee one is worth owning? Especially with Kevin Smith on it.

I was just in my local Wal-Mart today to pick up the new Spider-Man and saw they finally had these DVDs out. I dug around a bit and found one copy of the Leon and Starship Troopers Superbits. Otherwise it was the same old stuff everyone is finding. I left them on the shelf, but if anyone is really interested and still can't find them I might be able to try and grab the Superbits.
