FYI, there is a good chance that both releases (.hack//Roots & Cutie Honey) won't be placed out on the shelves until next Tuesday.

I saw Cutie Honey the Movie (without Lunchbox) out at my local best buy last weekend... not sure if the lunchbox version had a later release date.

Both has the same release date (4/17/06). My local stores had both of the regular volumes of Cutie Honey the Movie and .hack//Roots already on the shelves. The regular version of Cutie Honey is actually $19.99. Something wacky is going with the prices of these Bandai Ent. (LE) releases. It's strange when the LE is cheaper than the regular volumes!

The same thing is going on at my local best buys. The normal vol 1 is available, but when I talked to one of the guys there, they said the LE .hack was "on order" and they were getting 3 copies by Tuesday of next week at the latest.

Is it possible to pre-order on the store kiosk for the 14.99 price? I have not tried doing pre-orders from it before.

Yes, you can preorder them from the BB kiosk @ $14.99, but it's much a better deal without S/H! The 3 stores nearest to me will have them by next Tuesday, so personally I'll wait until that day!

No, it's not the same. It's a Best Buy exclusive packaging of Vol.1 + OST Vol.2. It doesn't include the artbox!
