I hope that Amazon doesn't have these sets beat in price at the time of pre-ordering.

I will know soon enough.
$39 for the Popey set still strikes me as a bit high, but we shall see.
I disagree. The SRP for Popeye set is $64.92. This is the same SRP that the Looney Tunes Golden Collections have. On Amazon the Looney Tunes Golden Collections go for around $46 each.

Also... i spoke with the customer service and they said you can always cancel your order as long as they haven't processed it yet. So if it does appear cheaper on Amazon or anywhere else...

Part of me thanks you, the other part is pissed. I don't buy many DVDs anymore, and I'm going on vacation next week so I've been trying to watch my spending...so having to pay $12 for shipping was my excuse for passing on a great deal.

Without that, I simply can't pass up on all 3 seasons of The Wire, my favorite non-Seinfeld show ever, for $107 with tax. Awesome deal, thanks OP.

Does anyone else have browser issues on this website? The entire top of the page apparently has Quicktime issues, so I can't search. This happens in both IE7 and Firefox, and on both of my computers. One computer does not have quicktime installed, and the other does. I am clueless!

Firefox worked fine for me. Do you have 2.0?

Yep, sure do. I seems as if some HTML related file type is associated with quicktime that shouldn't be. That's just an assumption. But no clue how to resolve it. I've never had this issue with any other website...

EDIT: PROBLEM RESOLVED
After doing some more googling, I found the answer:
If you see a Quicktime symbol with a question mark where the Flash content should be, it means that Quicktime has taken over handling of Flash files. Open the Quicktime Control Panel, select the Browser tab (or select "Browser Plug-in" from the drop-down menu in Quicktime 6 or earlier). Click the "Mime settings" button and uncheck "Flash media" or "Flash file" under "Miscellaneous" and restart your browser. If the problem persists, remove the file "pluginreg.dat" from the "Firefox" or "Mozilla" folder in the profile folder location. Additionally, remove any "npqt*.dll" files found in the Mozilla Suite or Firefox installation directory's plugins folder.

The FAQ also says this:

"You may combine as many product lines as you like within an order. Our various product lines do not always ship from the same warehouse. Therefore you may receive several shipments for a single order."

I got e-mails this evening that my Living Single: Season 1 and The Late Shift DVDs have shipped... which I already kinda knew, considering they both arrived via UPS this morning. Glad they came so quickly though!

Wish these guys would learn how to pack DVD Boxsets.

Received my HD Smallville S5 set complete with no packing material and 3 discs dislodged and scratched.

Going to return it and try again.

^ Really sorry to hear that because I ordered the HD DVD Smallville set also. I guess I will have to play the return game...

One would think that a studio would be likely to make sure that their fulfilling agent used decent packing materials. And I sure wish they would realize that they ought to use cases with better hubs.

Nope..... The set had "plenty" of space to "rattle" around during shipping.

The Hubs are shit compared to the ones found on the SD-DVDs.

On a somewhat different note, according to the website, Tales From The Crypt Season 6 is going back to the digipack. That will be nice.

Ugh.
Why do they do this to us?
My tales bit of shelf is going to look absolutely ridiculous!

Oh well. You're right, at least, that it will be nice.

I'm still trying to figure out why The Fountain is not on their site. I thought it was a WB movie and the release date isn't too far away.

I am thinking this is why:
Pre-Sell Date: April 17, 2007

Once the 17th rolls around I am guessing it will be up and IF it is then at least we will know how they run their releases.

The Matrix however had:Pre-Sell Date: March 23, which is why it is available on the site.....and Iwo Jim had a Pre-Sell of : Pre-Sell Date: April 2, 2007

Looks like it's gotten a little worse, unless I'm doing something wrong.
Wanted to pre-order Venture Bros Season 2, and all I can get is either free shipping OR 10% off. I've tried every combo (I think) and it always says 20% off has been redeemed already, and if I apply 10% first or free ship first, it says the other has not met the requirements.

Interesting, I did not know that. Wonder why the pre-sell date is so close to the release date? Because The Fountian's supposed to come out on in a month, right? While some of these preorders are going into July.

Just received the same notice the 20% may no longer work, but thats what happens they come they go, what you MAY want to try is signing up with them using a new email address and they "should" send you a new code in the email.

Yep May 15th, I think it was a late announcement sort of thing(I guess) no rhyme or reason to it, I think it gives people (mostly distibuters, main retailers, ect)enough time to decide what(if yes how many) to order ect......
