(DEAD) 20% off (error) at DeepDiscount! (DEAD)

Coupon code is "20percent"

DeepDiscount

Looks like it works on the whole site, books and games included.

Of Course. Right after I placed an order from the other DDD thread. Can I do anything about it?

You sure this is a legitimate promotion. One time someone posted a code for ddd 20 percent sale and it turned out ddd was just testing their promotion function on the site. They dont usually discount preorders either

Thanks for the post!

Well, I was going to hold on this purchases until June, but if the code is legit I don't see why waiting

Crank - $16.14
Happy Tree Friends - Volume One - $10.88
Silence of the Lambs - $18.29
Total $36.25

Well, earlier tonight I ordered a DVD and a CD. The DVD would have been 1 dollar less, the CD one dollar more.

Oh well.

And I logged in, since it says everything is ported over, my wishlist is gone!

I had over 100 dvd's there!!!!

From the DD site shipping rates:

International Shipments
We ship via "USPS Destination Post Office," which means that the USPS picks up from our warehouse and distributes packages throughout the world to the Post Office in your country for delivery to you. Please be aware that due to shipping restrictions or lack of delivery services to certain countries, United Parcel Service Worldwide Express,www.ups.com, may be used and applicable fees or charges may apply.
You scared me for a second.....

They still do ship internationally. I'm in Korea and just ordered.

Until I fiddled around, looking for international shipping costs, my order was showing up as free shipping.

Then it changed to $8.95, which for a $10 DVD was excessive compared to Amazon.

Yep, the site currently defaults to free US shipping even on international orders. I'm guessing that will cause a few problems

Also it seems they no longer ship to international PO Boxes. I've only tried Australia but I guess it will be the same for other countries.

Thanks for the heads up. Being February, I'm not prepared to go overboard, so I just used the discount on a couple of pre-orders that I'd otherwise have held off on until summer.

It says no P.O. Boxes for 2nd day or next day delivery, but I have been using my P.O. Box for the past five years. Wish list gone, account info gone, no P.O. box delivery...hopefully this is only a glitch.

Placed a large order for all my boxset preorders through May.

The new site instantly adds your order to the order status portion under 'your account'. Very nice!

So have I. I was using the default free shipping for the order so it might be something to do w/ the new look/feel/site.... I certainly hope it changes.

BTW just a head's up... THIS IS A ONE TIME USE ONLY COUPON. I tried to go back and order some other things I was thinking about and it rejected the coupon saying it had already been used

Me too.

This promo is probably an incentive to get people to visit their new site.
