There is no possibility that it is that set.

You said "Warning" but you didn't mention Region 2.

I hope some of the people here manage to get a copy of this before they realize their mistake because there's a bunch of jackasses ordering ten copies at a time who alert them to the mistake.

No, that set contains, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown; Pepi, Luci, Bom; Dark Habits; What Have I Done to Deserve This? Tower's website lists All About My Mother, Bad Education, and Talk to Her as part of the set, which corresponds to the nine-disc box.

I'm guessing Sony may've messed up and sent the wrong MSRP to retailers and some of them never got the correction, because this is the third or fourth place to misprice the set.

Sony had announced a 4-disc set a while back and cancelled it. This new set may be using the same UPC code as the cancelled set and some vendors may never have updated their sites.

Fucking sony silently changes their dual-sided widescreen/foolscreen dvds into single-sided foolscreen-only without changing the UPC all the time, so I would totally believe they would reuse the UPC from the original, cancelled set. UPCs must be real scarce the way Sony hoards them. At least this time around we get to benefit from their UPC greediness instead of being screwed by it.

Are you making that up? Every post I've seen says it's the 9 disc viva pedro set. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive.

According to the DVD Talk review, it's eight films and nine discs, which jibes with the specs listed elsewhere.

The status has changed to Special Order. I went ahead and placed the order, but we'll see what happens.

The Viva Pedro set is a 5 section fold flat array that when refolded fits into a slipcase that is 1 7/8 inch thick. Each movie is on its own disc and there are 1-2 on each of the flats with each on a separate hub.

Alright, I guess this is what I read (misread).

I would definately hold off and wait for a better deal. You really want to try and pay under $20 for this. $27 is a total rip-off.

Ha, I make an order at Tower, next day a new code's available. I make an order at Barnes and Noble, next day a new code's available. It's a conspiracy.
