ok, that made a lot more sense. Next question. Is google check out only good for a one time thing when you sign up for that 10 dollars off?

Gun broke off for me, but it looks easily salvageable. Awesome, OP.

My tracking says it's still in ol' Hebron. Maybe they're all drunk.

Right now the only GCO deal available is the $10 off $10 for new customers only. People have been getting around that by supplying multiple credit cards and creating new accounts each time they order to get the $10 off. I don't do this however because I consider it to be too much of a hassle to keep track of multiple cards through multiple accounts.

There used to be unlimited use $20 off $50 GCO promotions, but those have since expired and not returned.

Same here--and with the hand still firmly grasping the gun. A quick dab of super glue easily fixed it. The box was also slightly crushed.

This entire situation could have easily been remedied with a simple "FRAGILE" stamp in red ink and maybe some proper packing techniques (i.e. bubble wrap, Styrofoam, etc.) applied! Oh well, I'm pretty much used to the USPS delivering me damaged goods by now. Overall I’m happy with everything.

Thanks again OP!

My box is pretty much perfect, oddly. The superglue was ineffective the first time. I've got it held on with a twist tie now though until it REALLY takes hold.

Hm, I talked with Heather as well. I was told my order was cancelled as well, but when the cancellation e-mail came through, it said the reason was "Customer request to cancel". I already got my refund back through GCO, so no harm, no foul I guess. It looks like they finally got around to taking the item off of the site. Congrats to those who got in on the deal and got sets in good condition!

Mine arrived yesterday but I just got in and took a look at it. The box and bust are in pretty good shape. The only strange item is the box has a price tag on it from a place called "Music 4 Less" with a price of $49.99.

Okay. Silly question. How does one go about removing the bust from the stryrofoam? I removed the things that were securing it in place (from the back), but it's still pretty secure. And there doesn't appear to be any discernable devices keeping it in.

Got mine today, fine except the horns are broken off.
Nothing seems to be rattling, so I'll call it 'mint' until I open it and verify. Now to see about dumping my 2-disk that I got free from Blockbuster.
Question: Are the Gerald McBoingBoing cartoons on the DC?
Thanks OP. Not bad for 7 bucks. Now to find a place for it, I'm running out of room for box/special sets.

Got mine today. Hand/gun broken off. What a cheap piece of shit. Thank God I'm not that anal about packaging. I'm sure some of the die hards on here are absolutely crushed.

My box and packing ended up being the worst off. My wife did some surgery on my statue with super glue and the thing looks great. She got the hand attached and all the little chipped pieces fit back into place. It will look fine on the shelf.

ah! I'd've probably gotten it better as "It looks like some jerk filed off the horns!" etc.

Oh well. I hang my head in shame.

Maybe these were so cheap because of the hand/gun breaking off issue. Hit mine with some Super Glue and it looks fine. Bought this as a blind buy and I'm very impressed with the film. Much better than Superman Returns IMHO as far as comic book hero films go.

DTCarson:

I believe that these cartoons are NOT on the DC, so hang on to your theatrical cut if you want all of the extras.

My package is now enroute from Springfield, MA as of the 3rd, so I guess I will see it on Monday. Hope it ships OK, but the last few posts make me want to go get some Krazy Glue from the store....
