The one by my work had no DVDs that I saw. The one by my house had some, but they were either crap or full-screen. I did pick up True Lies and wanted to pick up Days Of Thunder, but it rang up full price.

Top Secret, Terminator 3 (WS), All That Jazz, Mystery Men, and Clue for $12 and tax. Results of two CVS stores in Huntsville, AL. There's plenty more around, but dunno if I'll check them or not. Thanks OP.

I was hitting local CVS myself and ended up with:
All the Right Moves
The Barbie Diaries
Black Beauty
Charlie's Angels 2
Conspiracy Theory
Erin Brockovich
Matchstick Men
Necessary Roughness
Pleasantville
Runaway Bride
Shine
The Terminal
2 Wiggles DVDs
I've been to 8-9 stores already. I felt pretty lucky to be at one that it's sign still said 50% off but they rang up at the 75% off price. After this is over, I'll probably never set foot in a CVS again. The nearest CVS is at least 10 miles away from home, but in the city they're relatively close to each other. Not having my kids with me helped with the quick stops.

Was able to catch a few titles that were left over. I picked up Red Dawn and Spaceballs. The employee said I missed out on "tons" of other titles, oh well. I've been after Red Dawn for a while.

Well, I stopped by a couple other CVS's on my lunch today and fared a little bit better. I picked up:
The Terminator
The Producers (original)
Jerry Maguire
The Astronaut's Wife
Hackers
The Falcon and the Snowman
2001: A Space Odyssey
The Muppets Take Manhattan
Paid between $1.50 and $2.50 for each of them. Not too shabby. One of the stores had displays for Cars and POTC, but the salesperson said someone had just come in and bought all the copies. There are CVS's everywhere in my area and if I take a 2-mile detour on my way home tonight, I can hit 3 more stores. I'll probably see what else I can pick up.

Couple of notes from my two store CVS foray tonight:
The Herndon store had the largest collection of VHS that I've seen in years. There must have been 200+ tapes there. (All 75% off!!)
I found a few minor wants like Stripes and Taps for a couple bucks each after discount, but thought I really scored by finding a pile of dollar DVDs of titles that I actually wanted. 25 cents for some cool monster and abbott&costello double features! But, alas, they refused to take the 75% off those dollar titles. Looking back, I should have bought them anyway, as they really were titles I would have watched.....

I've went to 3 different CVS stores in the Cincinnati area and none of their DVDs were marked with a discount sign...
yet ALL three stores were indeed selling their entire stock of DVDs at 75% off!
When I took a DVD to the counter to ask the clerk for a price check he said, "I can already tell you the price on that one; it's $5.50".
At one store, a number of DVDs were on a free-standing, wire rack in the middle of an aisle but the newer ones were still located behind the counter. At another store, the DVDs had been moved to a locked, glass cabinet next to the men's razor blades and shaving cream!!
Bottom line: you must look around for the DVDs (or simply ask a clerk to point them out to you).
I picked up:
I mentioned that a lot of stores are able to send back unsold DVDs/CDs to their distributor and have them replaced with newer (or more popular) choices. This is a common practice for Walmart and Target. But she said CVS doesn't work that way.
I guess I could have also mentioned that CVS didn't exactly promote DVD sales by keeping their stock behind the counter where the customer couldn't view the titles or prices, but I knew she wasn't in charge of their corporate policy.

Shrek 2
Failure to Launch (4 my mom)
Shark Tale (4 my nephew)
Master of Disguise
Monster House
Rugrats Movie
Oh... I asked the store manager why the DVDs were 75% off and she said, "Well, we can hardly sell the DVDs we get and they just sit around forever so they've decided to stop carrying them".Shrek 2

Finally made it to some of my local CVS stores today. I was expecting everything to be gone, but they still had a bunch of DVDs at all 4 stores I checked. Only two of the stores had the 75% off signs up, and even they still had a lot left.
I ended up getting several DVDs, and will be going out again tonight to check a couple other locations. I got Mulan, Lilo & Stitch 2, and a Winnie the Pooh movie for the kids; The Shining, Pleasantville, Frequency, Vacation, and Batman Beyond:RotJ uncut for myself.
Also saw Over the Hedge, Superman Returns, Batman Begins, the Breakup, all the Harry Potter movies, and many others that were available in Fool Screen only.
Great sale!

Went to one CVS that even had the 2/$12 dvds all in one bin with a big sign "all dvds 75% off"...of course the $6 one didn't ring up...The cashier noticed and said.."oh this is supposed to be 75% off...$6 that is $2" lol We didn't say anything about the extra .50 (really should be $1.50) because we know those $6 weren't supposed to be included in the first place!

Thanks for the post. I rarely visit CVS, and my location had the dvds unsigned behind the register. In fact, when I asked the cashier to price check a title, he pointed to the full price sticker and assured me that was the current price.
I found a long OOP (Jan 2002) platinum edition copy of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Since this sells for at least $40 new, I consider the $6.25 quite a bargain!

Nice find on the Snow White. I got mine really cheap at GameStop about a year ago, but that's an awesome deal.
