Sorry, I didn't pay attention to that. I don't have a Blue-Ray player. I just remember spotting it. They had two columns of Blue-Ray and Saw III was at the top.

I like Best Buy's deal for 2 for $25 if you happen to want one of the other movies they have. The Descent would make a good pick up for Horror fans... and Crank for action.

No go at CC because they didn't have any of the 2-disc of Saw I or II. I went to BB and they wouldn't give me their price of $15.99 for Saw III but they sold me Saw III for $17.99 (K-Mart's Price) plus $2.99 each for the 2 Disc of Saw I and 2-Disc of Saw II. K-Mart's ad does in fact show the 2-Disc version of both I & II. Not bad I guess.

Bruiser? Hot damn!

Yeah I would definitely suggest skipping Wal-mart's package. Bruiser is not only one of George Romero's worst films, it is one of the worst "horror" movies ever made.

Well, I ducked Wal-Mart's bullet, but not Circuit City's; their bonus DVD is apparently nothing but trailers for other Lionsgate horror films--nothing SAW-related. So the final word is, Target has the only bonus DVD that actually has something to do with SAW. Why do I take shit out of the plastic the moment I walk out the door, dammit?

I made out like a bandit. I thought I would give it a shot and see if Bestbuy would let me get Saw 3 and Crank on Blu-ray 2 for $25 deal. I know it was for the dvd versions, but I went up to the cashier with the add and I guess she wasn't paying attention and she let me slide. I ended up getting 2 copies of Saw 3 on blu-ray as well as Crank and Employee of The Month on Blu-ray too my total was 54.76 for all for blu-rays I guess today is my lucky day!!!

Check out the serial number on the film cell, can you believe there are that many being made? Can you say over-produced?

Do all the copies not have cover art (only a slip case) I feel ripped off with no proof of purchase tabs or real UPC code. The one stuck to the case is a joke.

I found someone to buy my Circuit City copy (without the blasted DECATHLON OF TERROR b.s. DVD, which I'm keeping at least for the time being) for $10, so I'm only out $5 for the ass-raping bonus DVD.

Are you new to the SAW franchise on home video?

Circuit City DID honor the $2.99 from Kmart Circular for the Uncut Special Editions of Saw and Saw II with the purchase of Saw III at $14.99 with bonus DVD 'Decathlon of horror'.

I went to K-mart and they were out of Saw I & Saw II, so then I went to CC. They didn't have the deluxe editions, so I went to Best Buy. I talked to the customer service manager, and she did the price match, but then again, I was with my friend, and the manager was my friends cousin, so this might have had something to do with it.

Why would I have to be new to the franchise to ask that question?

Saw - slip cover has UPC code on it.

Saw II - Black keep case with cover art w/ UPC - slip cover with slot to see UPC on cover art

Saw III - clear window slot for upc code sticker that looks so cheap.

Saw III is the only one that has the cheap looking sticker on a clear keep case. Not impressed.

The Target disc has two short featurettes that are around 6 minutes each.

First of all, you're mixing your SAW DVDs by including the Uncut Edition for Part II; all three standard (first) releases are in clear slipcovers, which I thought was the jist of your complaint--that the clear slipcovers looked cheap. I didn't realize your focus was primarily on the UPC formatting. Which leads me to, who gives a shit about the UPC?! Is that not the single most uninteresting element to any DVD cover?!

tried to price match at best buy. i was told that because it says "quantities limited" they can not price match. to their defense, it is clearly stated in their price match policy, but they wouldn't even try calling kmart to see if they had it in stock.

why do they even bother with price match policies if they create so many reasons NOT to do so?

this is pretty (unintentionally) funny. i thought i heard it all here regarding dvds. didn't know there were people fixated on UPCs, whether slipcovers had them or not. weird!
