Yet another $4.88 batch at Wal-Mart

This morning I saw a new $4.88 display. This isn't the same as the one from just a week or two ago (yet some of these titles are mentioned it the other thread). I think these were mostly/all 20th Century Fox titiles. The ones I can remember are:

Broken Arrow
Enemy Mine
Commando
Weekend at Bernie's
The Good Girl
Eddie & the Cruisers
Delta Force 2
Down With Love
Valley Girl
Big Trouble in Little China
Bandits
The Whole Nine Yards
Agent Cody Banks 2
Sleeping With the Enemy
Benny & Joon
Dirty Work
Flight of the Phoenix (original)
Vanishing Point
The Man in the Moon
The Seige
Courage Under Fire
Hart's War
Planet of the Apes (Marky Mark version)
Dorm Daze (Rated version)

(I'll add more as I remember them)

One interesting thing, the only one I bought was Broken Arrow. When I took it to the register it rang up as $4.50 (YMMV)

Yeah, that was from the last batch, which I think my Wal-Mart mixed their remainder in with the new batch above:

According to their flyer for Dec. 24-30, the following movies were 2 for $9.

Agent Cody Banks 2
Bandits
Broken Arrow
Commando
Courage Under Fire
Delta Force 2
Hart's War
Dirty Work
Return to Me
Someone Like You
The Seven-Ups
Weekend at Bernies

Titles I saw in the stack but not on paper advertisement.

Peacemaker
Shaft (S. Jackson)
The Good Girl
The Ladies Man
The Man in the Moon
... quite a few more I can't recall

It's Sick It's Dirty It's Their Job
Is that an actual movie, or is something that it says on the Dirty Work cover?

Everything else you listed in that first part they had today.

It was dated 1971. This was the cover:

I've never seen either.

That's the original...probably the best (certainly the most existential) car movie ever made. According to some, anyway. I'm in for this.

"Vanishing Point" is definitely worth a blind buy at this price. I saw this "Fox" display in the Kennesaw, GA Wal-Mart last week. I was tempted to buy "Vanishing Point" again at this price if for no other reason than to gift it to someone else next year.

Picked up "The Good Girl" for $4.50 and found "Confidence" with slipsleeve for $5.50. I didn't even know Confidence had a slipsleeve! I'm a sucker for them.

I finally picked up Vanishing Point. The Limey spurred my curiosity about the film six or seven years ago.

Got the Seven-Ups tonight, but passed on Vanishing Point because it sounded kind of iffy. Might have to pick it up next time I'm in judging by the response here.
