Just curious how many people placed several orders and have had them shipped. How many did you place and what was the total cost?

It looks like my orders just shipped.

I put in six orders before it stopped working.

Married With Children Seasons 2 and 5 = 2.50
Married With Children Seasons 3 and 4 = 3.97
Boondocks and The Critic = 2.00
Bewitched Seasons 1 and 2 = 3.97
Dilbert and The Critic = 5.00
Bewitched Season 3 and Huff Season 1 = 35.96

As you can see, my final order has been adjusted. The order page had 3.97 listed, but as soon as it popped up in my account status it had the 35.96 price. I suspect what happened is they caught the glitch and fixed it as I was checking out. Surely they wouldn't just adjust the prices after an order is placed would they? Even if they can legally do that, it would just create problems for them and would be easier to just cancel orders with the glitch in place than deal with angry customers and a flood of returns.

So as I stand right now I have 12 sets coming for a grand total of 53.40 (4.45 a set). Obviously the last order at 3.97 would have been great, but I'm content with that price if they all actually ship. If they adjust or cancel my other orders then I gotta figure out how to return stuff.

Update: Seasons 3 and 4 of Married With Children have now shipped at the 3.97 total. No adjustment on any of my other orders. This is gonna be awesome if they actually go through. Kinda wishing I would have gotten more, but there was nothing else I needed and I didn't wanna be too greedy.

For those that have received shipping confirmation emails, do you think you could post the time you placed the order to the time that you received the shipping notice. I'm just trying to get some form of a time frame so I can see if I have a shot at getting my orders at these great prices.

FWIW I placed my orders between 11 and 11:30am ET this morning and have just checked the order status and it's still showing the correct price that I ordered them for. that it goes thru.

I ordered all 6 seasons of 'King of Queens' and both seasons of 'Resue Me' for $7.50 shipped. If it doesn't happen, then so be it....but if it does.....

I placed them at 10 am and started receiving shipping notices about 3:00 pm central time

I guess I should have clarified. That doesn't seem LEGAL. It's not illegal for me to get two seasons of Rescue Me for free. That is their mistake, not mine, I didn't hack in to Amazon.com and change the price. Now, if they cancel my order, I have no problem with that. If they charge me extra, then that is B.S. What would stop them from upping the amount on ANY order at that point?

Hmmm. OK, on my final order, (Charlie's Angels #3, TJ Hooker #1-2) CA showed it was shipping soon, TJ wasn't yet. I was charged the part of shipping for CA, and again not for TJ. Now TJ is gone from the order summary, CA info remains the same. Maybe TJ was taken out after the glitch was fixed?

1 of the 12 orders I placed has been removed from my account status. It was the only order that never reached the 'Shipping Soon' phase. None of my other orders have shipped yet. Hopefully they will soon.

Just struck me funny, dude. No, it's not illegal. Not any more than it is to (for example) leave the grocery store with any extra 20.00 in change the cashier gave you by mistake, even if you recognize the error at checkout. Just try not to toss around terms like "right" and "not right" and then you won't have to get defensive about it.

Does this qualify as a threadcrap? Am I going to be suspended?

You are talking about 2 completely different things. Most people who got on this, were going to buy 2 DVDs on the BOGO deal. Amazon.com had a glitch problem, which is their responsability to check before making it public and customers benefited from it. There was no way around making a BOGO purchase without getting the glitch. And it is completely legal. It is as legal as getting a cheap DVD on a misprice, which has happened often.

I placed 4 orders of Seinfeld seasons 1-2, 3, 4,5, 6, The Critic and 2 seasons of Dawson Creek this morning to 11:00AM and all of them already shipped.

Grand Total of USD15.88.
