When you do a title search EAST SIDE STORY comes up as $22.49, but when you go to the title itself it is $14.98. I didn't click on the link until I read your post.

Mark, can I send you an email direct? I'm having a problem with an order I paid for using paypal. I got an email stating that is was cancelled because my CC was declined but I paid using paypal. I called DVDPlanet CS and they were not able help but said a supervisor would call me back. I haven't heard anything since 3/01/07.

Why can I not cancel an order that hasn't shipped? I sent a cancel request in within hours of ordering, but got an e-mail back saying I cannot cancel instock orders. Google Checkout still shows the order as in-progress, why does it have to be shipped? FWIW, I want the order canceled because I later realized I had an order big enough to use the March coupon to get 5 off 50, I just want the original $25 order cancelled.

Is it possible to change the shipping address for an order placed through Google Checkout? I placed one a couple of days ago and forgot to change the address.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I'm not sure of the order number, the email confirmation doesn't have it and neither does the paypal receipt. I've also had several problems lately with other orders that I need to write them about.

Lesson One: No, you almost always can't cancel a DVDPlanet/DDD order. Even if you call, the order is always mysteriously "processing" which means they won't cancel it.
Lesson Two: Do not write emails to DVDPlanet/DDD. They go unread. Call. If you don't like what they say when they pick up, call again. I've gotten helpful, great operators, and I've gotten mean, accusatory jerks. It's a roll of the die.

FWIW My order number wasn't on the original order either but it was in the cancellation email. also if you check your paypal history and find the transaction or just go to the paypal email confirmation and there's a transaction I.D. Use this I.D. when communicating with DVDPlanet so they can check their records. What worries me somewhat is that the payment still goes to digiatleyes.net and not DVDPlanet. Good luck.

Actually it is very difficult to retrieve an order after it has printed and is in the warehouse. Orders are pulled hourly and printed. Once they print they land in the warehouse with thousands of orders. It would literally be like finding a needle in a haystack. The google status is updated daily and does not necessarily reflect exactly where it is in our building.

It is too late to change the address unfortunately.
