CotS was one of my favorite shows when it ran on TechTV. Picked up that and the sequels along with Galaxy Angel

BTW, does anybody think GA seasons 2-on were kind of lacking compared to the first season?

@Likomok:I would think that they would since it was their mistake. I'd just do as you said and give them a call to get it straightened out. Although... they don't reimburse you if you have to ship a defective item back to them, they just stress to use whatever is the cheapest option for you.

I got the exact same titles along with Stratos 4. I have no idea what Stratos 4 is about, but it had a picture of school girls on the cover, so it might not be half bad. If anyone cares to comment on Stratos 4, I would be most grateful.

OMFG! I NEED TO GET TO BESTBUY! Do you have any idea how happy this makes me?! This thing goes for like $60, and I've never, ever, seen it under $40. I don't even care if it's the economy version.

I've seen the first two volumes of Stratos 4. It's good. Nothing spectcular, but it's a good show. Gah, it'll probably get cheaper just to buy the boxset for $15, rather than trying to buy the last two singles...=/

That's awesome that BotS is $15 as well. I've had BotSII for awhile now, so being able to complete the series is great.

qwerty: I thought GA:Z was a little worse than GA, but I absoltely loved GA:A. The way they just threw the two new kid characters away after the first few episodes, and had them randomly say, "Why aren't we getting any screen time?!" during the break was just hilarious.

Edit: Crap, they've got the original GA too? Man, this sucks. All these series I've got half-way complete, for cheaper than it'll probably get to buy the rest of the singles. Got Saber Marionette J-X (I'm missing two discs) up there as well. I love and hate BB at the same time! =E

Bout time for Please Teacher; thought it was kinda dumb that they raised it up to $30 when they found out it was the whole set instead of the first volume. I think ill be ordering one.

thanks I might pick it up in a week or so.

one of my banner of the stars sets is on back order! That sucks.

Just started some shows from my rightstuf ganeon orders. Gungrave is pretty sweet and Sherlock Hound is really fun. My brothers kids would love it. They are huge totoro nuts.

Updated Best Buy table:

-- snip --

I'm going to be posting a thread in the exchange forum soon. I'm looking to get rid of a lot of the excess anime stuff I have lying around, so keep an eye out for it. I should have it up by the end of the week.

For those who had still held off on Cyborg 009 at DDD, it's now part of the B1G1 sale -- so you can get TWO copies for $3.99!

(and for those still undecided, it looks like it gets ~$8 in trade-in at FYE/Wherehouse -- i.e.: you could get paid $4 to buy a copy and get an extra copy to trade in)

^^Note that Madman is an Australian company and most (all?) of the DVDs are Region 4 and PAL.

Looks like the Buy.com deal is dead; though most of the 50% off boxes are only $3-4 more.

Looks like were also 3 hours away from a new topic.
