I picked up S2 at the Naperville, IL (Route 59) store. I picked up mine at around 11 am near the Verizon booth. There were some other sets in the main DVD section. The S1 sets were with placed back with the regular boxed sets.

Either way, thanks for starting a new thread about it OP, I probably would've never known about it otherwise. Just got back and I also got it for $17.99. |
In Southern California here - had a 39.99 sticker - rang up at 17.99 - nice surprise!
|
Thanks OP. Was gonna get the best buy instead, but couldn't pass it up for $17.99.
|
Just picked it up in Houston, TX ($17.99), last one out on the floor too!!
|
The second trip was worth it. They had the price tag of $39.99 on them and didn't have the price card that's usually clipped at the front of the rack to denote the sale price, so I took a chance and asked the clerk if it was on sale. She scanned it and sort of surprisingly said it was coming up for $17.99. And the return at Target took all of two minutes with no questions asked. Nice. Thanks OP.

Thanks OP! I just picked it up at the CC in Roseville, MI. Several still out on the floor.
|
by the way I would assume like myself at this price no one is bothering to inquire about the 3 free downloadable cell phone games with purchase advertised in the circular
I really didn't care about that since CC was still my first retailer of choice at the $29.99 price point |
The deal is alive and well in Culver City Ca. Thanks op.
They also broke street date on My Name is Earl but unfortunately the cashier wouldn't sell it to me. |
The closest Circuit City is about 60 miles away.
Congrats for being able to get in on this deal everyone. :o |
I just picked this up at the Anderson, SC Circuit City for a total of $18.89. Thanks a bunch OP!!!
Not bad for a set that has a sticker on it that says $39.99. |
Confirmed in Muncie, IN
|
Hey big thanks to the OP. I was going to get this today for 29.99 not a bad deal ...but 17.99 that is a great deal. Me and my friend each got a copy and that papa roach cd ..so it was sorta like gettin the CD for free.
thanks again |

Also, the Target Bonus DVD "Booze Cruise Video Blog" content we missed out on is up on YouTube. Good thing, because now I don't *think* my wife will kill me for buying at CC instead of Target... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIp3xVnfzSc |
no info card in mine other than an ad for Studio 60, Universal tv on dvd, and Lay's stax
but yep not worth asking |

Verified here in Boise, there were a couple left at about 12:30 mountain time.
|
Picked one up in Lynnwood, WA. Two separate shelf tags actually had the $17.99 price, so it may not be an error. The three free games are advertised on a fold-out sticker on the front. The info if you are curious, text OFFICE to 32852.

Deal verified in San Antonio, Tx as well. Funny thing, I also purchased Season 1. The circular has that listed as $17.99, but, it rang up as $22.99. So, I'm at the register and tell the gal working that the ad says that Season 1 is $17.99. She pulls it out, starts to look at it, I pull one out as well, and then says,"It says that Season 2 is $17.99." I'm thinking, "No it's not, it says it's $29.99." So, of course, I say, "But, it says in print, 'also Season 1, $17.99." She then price adjusts that, and I'm on my merry way..... hahaha
:-) |
interesting mine didn't have that fold out sticker
also (looking at the two posts above) interesting to know the code is not unique not much of a 'exclusive' |
Damn, I almost ordered it online today....i cant get there for a couple hours, but ill go by there tonite. I hope they dont fix it by then!!

No problems here... The girl rang it up and said something like, "This rings up way less than in the catalog (ad), so your total is only $19.08 (including tax)."
Very few copies left. |
