Last week, Best Buy had four seasons of Northern Exposure for $20 each. Too bad you missed it, but consider it a heads up if you want to wait for the possibility of that sort of deal coming around again.

Ugh, that sucks.
I really want it now...
But oh well, I guess 30 bucks is too much for S1 and S2 from DDD.
Is it?
Oh well, only a few months until November 14.
Thanks for the heads up then...I'll wait.

Personally, I'm at the point where it's very rare that I pay more than $20 for a season of anything and it's rare when I pay more than $10 for a single movie.

It looks like DVD Planet is having the same sale. The URL is http://dvdplanet.com/unitv.cfm , but there are no DVDs on the page yet. They appear to be in the process of setting it up.

I had cut and pasted the DVDs from both DDD and DVDPlanet into a word processor at one point to compare them, but DDD was a few dollars cheaper on nearly every item. The only exception that comes to mind is the Fright Pack series - DVDPlanet had them for $17.99 while DDD is at $20.99.
The one nice thing about DVDPlanet's site was that the entire sale was on one page while at DDD it was on three different pages (thus you had to flip between pages).

Picked up Knight Rider S2 for $15. Wasn't really planning on continuing this show since I found it really hasn't held up as well as other 80's shows, but for that price I''ll get it. Too bad the S3-4 aren't the same price.

Going to order Battlestar Galactica 2.5 since i can't see BB, CC etc. coming anywhere close to this price.
I was going to wait incase 2.5 was the one that was coming to HD DVD, but since Universal refuses to say which season it is i just said fuck it.

Well, except for the DVDs being DVD-18s (flippers) and the atrocious airing order they put them out in--which doesn't work too well with a show that has continuity.
But, since it's unlikely to ever be corrected, I'll say it's a heavily flawed release of a great series.

I want to let people know that Heath Ledger's show Roar makes a good blind buy.....very good adventure series with nice photography and above average acting. Its definitely worth the 22 bucks.
