DDD has a pretty good sale going on TV box sets, buy one get one free. Mainly older shows of course but still lots of seasons for $10 to $14 each (after buy one - get one free).

Rockford Files Season 2 is currently $19.99 which is better then the DDD price if you order over $25 to get free shipping at Amazon

Thanks OP for the heads up and thanks DDD for adding the view all option to these discount pages so we no longer have to flip through pages and pages to see what is on sale.

If you don't mind my asking, what can those of you that bought Jack of All Trades say about it in similarity to Brisco County Jr.?
Is is it alike or different?
Thanks...(and sorry with all the questions)

^I liked both shows. I thought Jack was more of a cutesy funny than Brisco and less serious. The two leads, Campbell and the lady whose name I don't remember, I felt worked together quite well.

I don't really like Brisco at all, but that sounds pleasant.
Maybe that then exharrison. Thanks.
I'm stuck between that or the two seasons of Sledge Hammer (same price).

I think Brisco is a way better show. But Jack has its moments. If your a big Bruce Campbell fan then both are keepers. Can't go wrong for 20 bucks though. Very fancy!

I am a campbell fan, but in context.
I once went through a phase in recent years where I even went as far as reading his books. Now, I'm over him kind of (although I still highly enjoy his schtick), and I thought I'd love Brisco, but the truth of the matter is...I didn't.
I'll still see about this...but thanks for all the input guys. Really appreciate it.

If you're interested in trading Brisco for Northern Exposure seasons 1 & 3 (or some other arrangement), send me an email.

Good prices on Battlestar. I wonder if there is going to be any good exclusives in store though.

Thanks for the heads-up...I just snagged the 2nd season of "The Office". $5 cheaper than Amazon had it.

I am concerned about that too. I don't want to order and then find out Best Buy is offering an exclusive disc.

I just ordered House: Season 2 and Surface: The Complete Series.

I'll probably place another order before the sale ends on 9/4.

Are those bonus discs really worth the $7-$10 more BB or CC will cost?

I was wondering the same thing... Before I started shopping for deals I used to get bonus discs every so often and just pitch them figuring they were shit.... I never saw anything special, and I'm much happier with my extra cash than the extra disc, but maybe thats just me.

Not for me, I guess I was wondering more about the exclusives and cost combined. I would think someone would package the 2 together, but who knows. DDD will probably be cheapest. I have a hard time paying 27 for one of these though.

Thanks for the offer. I might consider it, but I'll need some time.
See, I only saw the first two discs of Brisco, so I'll see how it further plays out.
I'll keep you poster Rkilgore (so thanks for the offer again).

I'm still so conflicted on whether there's anything to buy on this sale.
House I'll be getting at Target, as with Office and BSG.
Then it's either the Book of Daniel or Jack of All Trades for me.
Man, I hate these sales...they always come right when I'm low on cash.
If only it'd come in a few weeks.
