All my dvds came on Friday. When I opened them up, two of the Hercules dvd cases and one Xena case are smashed and another Xena set is missing a disc.
I hate doing returns so how would I go about doing them? Since this was BOGO would they charge me on only two or all four to ship them out again?
I also read on some posts in this forum that there's a way to reason with them by having them ship out another copy of whatever you have that's messed up so you can basically mix and match a good set instead of anticipating another lousy one, if this is true how do you go about doing it?
Sorry for the questions, lastly there's no indicator of sorts or anything about the return label that they have paid for it. Do I have to pay to return them something that doesn't even work?

gatoinfeliz, I feel your pain. I once had to return something to them, and I believe I just called them up and they e-mailed a sticker for shipping. Don't quote me on that, it was a long time ago and I am not sure if it was that company...
Quick question for you, where are you located in the US? And when did they ship your stuff out? Thanks! And good luck!

Definitely my first and last time buying from them.

Oh funny thing is that with all the shipping horror stories I decided to pay extra to have my stuff delivered on time and this is what I get.
Amazon for me from now on, at least their shipping method is more safeproof instead of the crumbled paper DeepDiscount uses.

We will see what happen with this copy of Escape from New York I ordered for $6, was on backorder...claims it will ship roughly around the 31st of august but the price has already gone up to $9, so I am wondering if they will keep there word and charge me the $6 or charge me the $9.

Okay, I'm stupid. I waited, and now three of the four things i ordered show as out of stock/backstock. What are the chances of these titles being restocked, or do I get stuck with one out of four, or should I cancel my order since there's nothing else on the list I wanted to get? [they're Xena S3-6].

I'm just a bit worried my Dawn of the Dead UE won't arrive since it's on back order. It's not out of print (is it?),so they should be able to get some more(cross my fingers).Am I the only one here that ordered the Werner Herzog set?

This is the first time out of about 25+ orders that I have had so many floaters in a shipment. Titus Seaon 1/2, every disc loose. Campy Classics had one floater and The Devil Made Me Do It had three. Not that this was by any means all DDD's fault but the packing was poor with just a few sheets of paper tossed in to absorb handling the shipment.

As far as the missing disc goes - I'd contact Anchor Bay. I had a duplicate disc 6, and no disc 5 on a Hunter set - and I emailed them about it, and I got a response in a day or two that said my replacement disc had been shipped out - very cool for Anchor Bay to do that so quickly - beats the return headache with DDD. But I guess if you have to return some more to DDD, it might not be that big of a deal.
Here's where I sent the email:

so I guess I should open all my sets on arrival, just to check?
I normally don't open a dvd until I'm about to watch it, in case I change my mind and want to sell it or return it.

Just an FYI for anyone interested in the HERCULES & XENA sets that DVD Planet's deal works out better in this case.

Why would you buy 7 titles when they're BOGO and shipping is free? Weren't all thosetitles on order 2 b1g1?
oh...maybe not, I don't see Herc 1 on the list.

Got my stuff in perfect condition a few days ago. Ilsa was suprisingly entertaining, but Sleepaway Camp is so bad it's almost unwatchable. Will be quickly trading that away.
