Though I might still jump on British War, Sellers or Guinness. As far as Guinness vs Peter Sellers – dman988 you’re right, the six movies in the Alec Guinness collection have higher IMDB ratings. The main difference appears that the Alec Guinness movies appear to be all early ‘50s comedies, while the Peter Sellers appear to be late ‘50s through mid ‘60s. Different era, may be different style of comedy. I would say that a person would do good to just pick up both sets for $36 total. For what it's worth, "Lady Killers", in the Alec Guinness collection, also stars Peter Sellers. If I hadn't spent so much last week I'd probably pick up both sets. I spent a little under $60 total for Seasons 1 through 4 of Northern Exposure, then spent $70 on two 512MB MP3 players (Sandisk). Though a couple seasons of Doogie Howser for $18 sounds tempting... I need to figure out if my soon to be 9-year old soon would like it. |
Anybody know what the deal is with Columbo? My email cleary shows one of the Columbo DVD sets, but it is not listed as part of the b1g1 pages.

My order status says CANCELLED on the website WTF is going on. Is anyone else having this problem, and if not, Why am I???!?!?

As for my order from this sale, it shipped today. |
Does anyone know what the packaging of XENA is? Are they in slimpaks?

I got the Three's Company discs today and I have to say I am pleased with the packing unlike Amazon that put the one of the Three's Company DVDs in a box that is so tight that it dented on the side and broke the glass in a million pieces..the DVDs were in perfect condition, to DeepDiscountDVD!
I will be buying all Doogie Howser seasons next week |

What a deal! Too bad I just bought all of the Highlanders about 6 months ago! Oh well. I'm not sure why Hecules SEASON ONE was not available in the b1g1 offer, but I did find them selling the season for $11.99 (Heck of a deal!). I'm tempted to buy 21 Jumpstreet and Silk Stalkings (a guilty pleasure from the 90's) but after buying all 6 seasons of Dawson's Creek last week (Circuit City $20 each) I need to watch my DVD spending tab! Hey, IDrinkMolsens. Looks like DDD saw your posts. Columbo has magically vanished from the advertisement.
|
Just a note..dvd planet is cheaper on fright packs but they charge shipping so works out almost similiar I think.
|
Uhh...they have free shipping also.
|
I had a couple Fright Packs in my cart at DVD planet, shipping was $1 (where it was free for other items). And I live in the same state as DVD Planet so it wasn't because of having to ship it a long way.
By the way, both DDD and DVD Planet are located in Ithaca, Illinois. Are they related? |

Thanks again OP! I received my 2 orders this morning. They combined my 2 orders in one shipment as well!
