Funny, 3 of my four dvds were on backorder and I decided I didn't want them. I shot an email today to ddd asking them to cancel the order and I recieved my shipping notice shortly after. I don't really mind, it's just kind of funny that they would ship it so soon after I request a cancellation.

"Too late! They're shipped!"

I got an email Sunday night [which in itself impressed me] saying that the 3 BOed items were due to ship....thirtyone days after the order was placed [conveniently outside of the return window].

the return window starts when they ship not when the order is placed

Oh, ok. That's good. In that case if they miss the new ship date, I would be able to return the one I've got.

My last order has finally shipped. Here's hoping that it doesnt come banged up.

My three remaining Xena seasons arrived today; they were shipped over a week before the revised ship date, but just a couple days after my 'Where's my stuff?' email.....take that as you will.
But I got them, so that's what counts.

Recieved half of my ddd order on the 18th. The other 2 boxsets in another order and 1 set by itself should be here within a few days. My DVDplanet order arrived on the 19th.

Hmm... one of my items is still on backorder (it's alright, I can wait) but the other says "cancelled" ????? If one is cancelled, then I don't want the other one because it would nullify the buy one get one promotion. I just emailed them; we'll see.

I ordered a couple of the fright packs and one of them (Man's Worst Friend) had the status of "CANCELLED"... so I email them and receive the following reply:

Our records indicate that item DVD : FRIGHT PACK-MAN'S WORST is no longer available in our warehouse and hence it was canceled. Please provide us an alternate title so that we may process it for you.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Unfortunately, the only available alternative was another fright pack that I already owned. So I ended up going with "The Fangoria Fright Pack", which is a 3-disk set NOT included in the sale that was roughly the same price. Of course I'm getting 3 less disks...but they accepted my selection and hopefully it'll be a worthy equivalent. -pray- :fc:
