Mine arrived today in the suck packaging. The cardboard corner was a bit bent but at least my paper clip box was pristine!

Mine showed up on my doorstep this morning, as expected. The mail came almost two hours early today, so even though I didn't get to send back a Netflix envelope like I'd wanted to, having this DVD in hand makes my day!

I just used the "12% off/$1 shipping with paper clips link again to order the new Seven Samurai Criterion Collection set for $32.xx. When it got to the order confirmation page, it listed the paper clips shipping as UPS Ground (as they were sent to me in the AD deal), and Seven Samurai was listed as USPS (just like AD). There was a big button next to Seven Samurai that said "expedite order". When I pressed it, it upgraded the shipping for Seven Samurai to UPS Ground also, just like the paper clips, and it upgraded it for me for free. Just thought I'd point that out.

Thanks for pointing that out Brent. Maybe the UPS Ground packages get extra care when it comes to shipping rather than the usps ones. Is that what is going on with Overstock?

I'm bummed my copy seems to be hanging in limbo. According to the tracking it's been at the Chicago USPS Facility - BMC since last Saturday. I just have a feeling it's going to be beat to crap by the time it gets here, if it shows up.

it is a pain to go thru their process and I think you have to pay for the shipping..

UPS-MI really sucks! If UPS would have delivered the package I would have had it a long time ago. Nope, they had to give to to the USPS and it's still stuck at the Bulk Mailing Center in Chicago.

Chicago is only 90 miles away, I could have walked there by now.

There aren't any Costcos in this area. I did a search and there aren't any within the 50 mile radius, the farthest the store locator allows.

I just looked, the nearest Costco is right near Chicago; probably where my DVDs are, I can't win.

My copy finally arrived yesterday after being stuck in a shipping plant for five days. I planned to return it to Overstock (I bought a copy for $8 at Costco), but I just found out that Overstock will charge me $9 to ship and re-stock it. Awesome.

Looks like I have an extra copy to get rid of.

I've often called Overstock the worst store on the Internet, but have ordered from them a few times due to the low prices with coupons. After this hassle, I'm completely done with them.

Was it shipped out UPS-MI? This is my first time I've had a package shipped that way and it sucks. I've contacted UPS to see if they can figure out why the package is apparently just sitting in Chicago or if it disappeared.

Mine has been sitting around somewhere in some USPS facility in Detroit since Aug 28. Pretty damn annoying.
