hmm.

I just spoke to my friend (who placed the order for me)

She's gotten 2 emails, both yesterday:

1) Order Confirmation
2) Shipping Notification

Nothing further.

Also, her credit card has been charged and not refunded as of yet.

Still hoping.

As a side note, she's never gone into the site to check her order status.

Well, I've got a bit of a twist on it... I selected the cheap shipping (telling myselfa t the time to pay for the express for just this reason, but wanted to save a few bucks!), and have received neither an order confirmation nor an order cancellation. However, the two times that I've checked the status of the order (once yesterday, just after placing the order, and once just now), I've received the "inquiry" email, so I know that the order is in the system and that I used the correct email address.

When I checked just now, it said that the order had shipped, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed but won't expect anything.

The problem with that is,most of us haven't recieved tracking info. Did you get the inquiry that said you your order was cancelled by consumer? You must have gotten lucky and yours snuck through.

Check that inquiry email again and make sure you have a non-zero Total and that it doesn't say "Your order did not ship due to CANCELLED BY CONSUMER."

Some (most?) of us took the standard shipping (3-5 days)

I don't think it comes with tracking.

I chose standard shipping as well, and as of late last night, their website said the order was shipped. My order was submitted as they were updating their price, so if mine did go through, there should be hope for others as well.

Count me in as one who is getting it. I looked at the tracking number and it said it was on the truck for delivery. I chose the two day shipping if that helps.

Does 3-5 day shipping even include a tracking number?

I haven't got a shipped confirmation or cancellation, so it is possible that we won't get either and it will just show up on our doorsteps.

I can post them tonight. It's a really nice set. The dvds are kept in a digipak and the digipack is kept in a wood box. The whole thing closes very nicely and the only tip off that it is supposed to open is a little crease on the right hand side.

Well, they cancelled my order so I told them I didn't cancel it and please reinstate the order and this is what I got:

-----------------------------------------

Dear Minor,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your order
recently placed with Suncoast.com.

In response to your inquiry the order was canceled due to pricing
issues. The actual price of this item is $59.99 however it was
advertised at $19.99. This is a pricing error on our part of which we
sincerely apologize for. However our site disclaimer does advise,
"Prices and availability are subject to change without notice." Again
please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

Please let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

Sincerely,
Shana Levine

Are you people even reading this thread or the email they dispatch when you check? So far the only people with any hope are those that DIDN'T pick the cheap-o shipping. I'll be extremely surprised if any of us super-cheap bastards get in on it.

Although, on the defense of the 3-5ers, Mr. Plow did say he got the same email that said it was cancelled by the consumer and then he got his. And the only reason he got a tracking number is because he went the FEDEX route. I would find it werid why they would exclude the cheap shippers.

Often expidited shipping options are given priority, so it is entirely feasible that they simply shipped before the error was discoverd. You're guess is as good as mine. If what you're saying is right and that all the orders were cancelled, but still shipped for all, then that's obviously great. My credit card has never been charged, so I'm not holding out any hope.
