AMEX gift card advice

If over $150, the cashier must enter in one-five-zero-zero-zero, you or they swipe the AMEX credit card, then you have an outstanding balance that you'll pay with some other method (cash, check or AMEX). I had a nightmare trying to get rid of the remaining $7-something I had on an AMEX gift card because cashiers at various places didn't know how to key in the total amount left on my GC (which I had written on a Post-It attached on the back).

Band of Brothers...
There were mentioning in earlier discussion that Band of Brothers might be included in this deal. Has anyone actually picked up Band of Brothers with this discount. I have searched the Costco in the L.A. area and have seen none.

By the way, I got the HBO sampler disc with 4 of the first episodes from sme of their hits shows. THis is what I thought...purely after the first show.
1. Big Love- B+ - I loved the complexities of the marriage, how they balance work/kids/finances/intimacy. I absolutely LOVE Barb's character played by Jeanne Tripplehorn(one of the hottest women on the planet) and the uniqueness that each woman brings to the table. It made me want to keep watching and see what happens next.
2. Deadwood- A- -The show was very good. I think som language could have been deal with differently, but that's not my decision. I thought Ian McShane did a great job playing the enigmatic Al Swarengen, and the character development was very good for the first episode. The ending scene with Al, makes you wonder what he's really all about.
3. Rome- A- Fantastic episode, great acting by Kevin McKidd. I ws immediately drawn into this one(I love period pieces)
4. Entourage- C- - I did not find this funny at all. It seemd like a wanna-be Sex and the City, with 4 friends and there adventures together. It seemd like something a frat boy would find funny, but I thought it was pretty lame overall. Judging from this episode, it did not make me want to go on.
However, HBO did do there part and hooked me on three out of the four shows. I will definetly be picking up "Big Love" when it come out.

is this a good deal for 6 feet under? i've never seen a single episode but have never been disapointed with hbo tv shows. If so I plan on picking up all 5 seasons. Does a "boxset" exist for 6 feet under?
Another question is will there be a boxset release for sopranos once the 6th season is over?

I actually haven't watched the show since the 2nd season (when I moved out of my parent's house... I cheaped out on HBO) so it should be fun to catch up!

i believe the best example of this is the wire. it is hands down the best show on tv, but it is slow at times, including the first episode. get 2 or 3 episodes into it and i promise you you will be hooked. i can't recommened the wire enough!!!

FYI, the "ending" of Deadwood isn't the end of Deadwood. They made it before its' cancellation was announced.
There will be two 2-Hour Deadwood movies made in 2007 (released late 2007/early 2008) that will tie up the many loose ends in the series.
