What do you guys think? Cheapest online is DDD with almost $30.
Just thought some of you would want to bid on some auctions in order to get a 2nd chance offer. Worth a try.
Aren't they violating ebay terms that way?

No, eBay allows you to offer 2nd chances through their system. They still get their % of the final price.

Anybody else get a $24.xx invoice for the "free" History Channel Club? Came today, and I still haven't received my DVD order.

DDD is having what looks like the same sale on A&E titles, INCLUDING Kids In The Hall Seasons 1 and 2. There is a banner ad on their main site, this is the link for the Kids In The Hall dvds:

Ok. Ebay seems to be the way to go if you want the cheapest outcome. I just scored (on second chance again) KitH S1 and 2 for a total of $20 shipped with 2 $8 gift certificates. Can't beat $4! Got Mr. Bean as I mentioned earlier, but for $17 with a $9 giftcert. (I made a bid for a 2nd auction).

Their ebay store is going strong with BIN items now. I just picked up the first 2 Kids in the hall for 20$ shipped and the 14 disc Romance Collection for 21. The best part of the Romance Collection is that they are selling ones that people have bid up past $60.

Terrific deals! I picked up the New Avengers '76-'77 4-DVD box for $11.14, with free Media Mail shipping. Excellent prices on Brooklyn South, Homicide, Champions, The Pretender, etc. They'll go quickly....looks like a 24 hour period on their latet BINs. Thanks for the heads up, Starman!

No problem. Actually, you saved me 25$ I was going to pick those up to but made the mistake of going to read some reviews first, now they are gone. Oh well.

Has anyone seen Neverwhere? It sounds pretty interesting.

Sorry about that, but it was too good to pass up. I've actually only caught bits and pieces of Homicide, so this will be my first viewing of the series.

Hopefully this is the start of a new model for the A&E store, and they'll put up more copies of the early seasons for BIN and add the later seasons as well.

By the way, for anyone out there who enjoyed Master and Commander or that type of stuff, I can highly recommend the Horatio Hornblower series. A&E has a lot of Hornblower for sale, including a 4-DVD set for a BIN of $10.63. I bought the whole collection during an Amazon sale a while back and loved the whole series. It was a lot of fun, and I am looking forward to watching the series again with my son in a few years when he's ready (he's only 18 months old...).

They've added some more deals:

Highway to Heaven

Season One - $15.58

Season Two - $13.43

Ellen

Season One - $8.28

Season Two - $9.77

And last night I bought season 3 of KitH for only $11.29 to go along with the first two seasons that I bought from them a few days ago. The first three seasons for abotu $30, that can't be beat.

There is other new stuff listed also, so just check it out.

Well, I got the first three seasons of The Kids in the Hall in the mail today, well packaged and in perfect condition, brand new and sealed. Such a great deal, it ended up right at $30 for all three of them. Just so everyone knows, I placed two of my orders on the 18th (Friday) and I placed the third order on the 20th (Sunday), and all three shipped together in the same box.

I have also ordered the first season of Criss Angel: Mindfreak ($7.58) and Cris Angel: Mindfreak Halloween Special ($6.50) so I should receive those before too long also.

Took three weeks for my order, from winning the auction to receiving the goods. (I used "buy it now" and mailed a money order the next day.) Keep in mind, the free shipping is via Media Mail.

I won my "buy-it-now" auctions for the first three seasons of Homicide on August 18th, and unless they are waiting for me at home tonight, they have not arrived yet. As I had heard nothing from A&E since I won the auctions, I did e-mail them and they responded that they shipped out the next day via media mail and I should receive them shortly.

When are you seeing it? AM? PM?
