I don't think there was a Robots 2-disc edition.

Since the ad said all ad items are available online with free shipping the whole week, would it be wisest to order the DVDs online Sunday morning with free shipping, select in-store pickup, or wait until Wednesday to go to the store and hope they still have them?

I'd guess I'd be safest ordering online with free shipping to my home?
Online to your home would be my bet Manzana.

I'm hoping that someone will try to get a set not in that ad like Simpsons: Season 2 to see if the $14.99 will apply to that as well.

If you try, let us know how you make out.

The only Living Colors sets pictured are Seasons 1 & 5.
That's why I put in the blurb about whether someone could try to pick up a NON-pictured set (like Simspons: Season 2) to see whether the $14.99 price would apply. If you try, let us know por favor.

In regards to Master & Commander, it's in the new gold packaging that Manzana & I have seen at Wal*Mart and I would believe it is one disc. But like Circuit City, Best Buy shows these DVD titles with their spines facing outward. As such, I can't sync it up with Amazon / DVDEmpire which don't show the packaging/ slipcover.

So again, I believe it's a 1 discer.

Speedy- Any Sony Laptops on sale?

Surprisingly.... NO Sony laptops are in this ad.

There are 2 Toshibas, 2 Gateways and 1 Compaq.

If you are interested in any of these, let me know and I'll post.

Here are the price ranges:

Toshiba #1 >>>> $849.99
Toshiba #2 >>>> $2849.99
Gateway #1 >>>> $499.99
Gateway #2 >>>> $799.99
Compaq >>>> $529.99

Please let us know about other Simpsons sets at $14.99. Thanks

Thanks! And I just got a gift card for Best Buy yesterday. That'll sure ease the price on Doctor Who Series One!

...and me with only four episodes of Series Two to watch yet...

Those Remington Steeles sure sound tempting, though I've never seen a single episode!

Thanks Speedy, but I have my heart set on a Sony. Figures though BB wouldn't have one, they know I want to buy it now before they change the Reward Zone Program!

I will let you all know, plan on stopping early Sunday to see what they have.

How is the new Dr. Who?

I'm somewhat interested but the pricepoint is off-putting to me.

After the DDD sale I was all set for summer viewing, but damn that price is too sweet to pass up.

I got the preview DVD and was intrigued.

Next thing I know, the series was cancelled.

But for $15, I'll probably take the plunge.

Done and done. I might not get out there right on Sunday, but I'll try. However, I'm sure someone here will be there bright and early though.

Well, the review on this very site seems to me to be a good place to start...

Perhaps I should mention it's been winning awards in the UK left, right and center, and that three stories have been nominated for Hugo awards...?

I can't find those prices online (at least not the $6.99 Napoleon Dynamite).

Excellent show with some fantastic acting. (And IMO, the "home" scenes are better done than those in The Unit, another excellent show.) A shame it was so short-lived. Definitely worth a blind buy

I saw a small quarter column article in Entertainment Weekly and I read the review here.

Hi, Speedy. Thanks for always trying to help! Actually I was talking about My Cousin Vinny, but it's easy to confuse it with Master & Commander Gold package. I got the single disc edition (before the Gold package) of M&C a while ago (probably for about $6). The 2-DVD edition is rare, so I knew that the Gold Edition of M&C was only 1-DVD.

Hopefully someone who has bought My Cousin Vinny Gold package can say whether it's single or dual layer. Maybe I should post a new thread in a different forum for this.
