I tried to get one at Wal*Mart the other day and they appeared to be out. But since they just reorganized the whole DVD / cell phone section, nothing is as easy to locate as it once was.

Thanks for the updated intel Manzana!

Did you want to buy it regardless if it's single or dual layer? If so, were you going to PM Walmart to BBY for the $4.99 price? Just curious.

I suppose you could buy it online with free shipping from BBY if you want to own it. There were a couple titles I was going to do that with today, but My Cousin Vinny won't be one of them. I bet I'm one of very few people who would pass on a $4.99 title because it's single layer.

I was going to buy it because I like the movie and get Wal*Mart to price match.

Same problem @ my BB with sale prices not being in the computer. Clerk had to get overides on all 6 of the titles I got. I even tried the 10% coupon, but it didn't work - guess because it wasn't "regular" price??.

Picked up -

Remington Steele S2 & S3
Pretender S3
NYPD Blue S3
Time Tunnel V1
and Transporter 2

Since the 10% coupon didn't work, I thought about PMing @ CC & getting 10% of difference - should be a little more than 10% of sale price.

Same for me. I even tried since the computer didn't have the prices in and had to override, but she was too smart.

The ad has a misprint that Matador and Libertine are available today (Sunday). They are not.

Can anyone list some of the $4.99 titles? Thanks

One more example of BBs' dumbness - they have a B2G1 sale going on now (thru Jul 8) & all of the titles are the ones WM just put out for $4.88 each. BBs' prices are all over the radar - $6.99 thru $19.99 for the SAME titles!!!

Thanks OP. I got:

Time Tunnel v1
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea s1, v1
Office Space SE
Robots

used my 10% off coupon (covered three of 4 items).

Wound up paying $43.xx for all 4. Great buy. Would not have bought the irwin Allen series, but at this price you can't go wrong and I heard the transfers for both shows are excellent.

They seemed only to be out of American Dad Season 1. Considered getting that.

How'd you get the 10% coupon to work? Did your DVDs ring up w/out overide?

BB has an online page listing all the $14.99 tv dvds and then when you scroll down its still all the regular prices... DERRR... someone needs to get them to update their web site.

My BB had the same problem of the sale prices not being in the computer. I had to wait for the cashier to call the manager over for an override on my $14.99's, call her back to override for the $6.99's, and then I had to actually walk a person from the media section over to where the $5.99 display was to show her that yes, the $19.99 DVD I grabbed was on sale for $5.99, then I had to wait for the manager to do another override.

This is just ridiculous! I cannot believe BB has not corrected their
web page prices. What can you say but another "classic" Best Buy screw up.

I'd take advantage of that if:
a.) the sale prices were actually effective on the site
b.) the free shipping was actually applied on ALL the discs in the flyer

Well as of now (5:15pm pacific) the prices seem to have been fixed.
HOWEVER the free shipping is being applied to only some of the $4.99 discs. So there are still a few bugs in the system.

The best catch I had with Bestbuy today was pricematching "Hills Have Eyes" $4.99 sale of Circuitcity with their $26.99 "Hills Have Eyes"..instant $22 off...

got also

- A 2disc lenticular The Day After Tommorow (I think a Bestbuy Exclusive)
- Girl Next Door
- Stewie Griffith

Sale prices weren't in the computer at my BB either. Manager had to override, plugged in Office Space at $4.99 instead of $6.99 but said she "didn't care," and I got Atlantis for $6.99 (manager override) because it was in a display with a big "$6.99 titles" banner on the top. Other titles included Treasure Planet, Treasure Island, and a bunch more. It had the Pirates of the Caribbean movie pass included.

The lenticular one is the first release and only a one disc. And no it was not a BB exclusive.

I agree with you that there was this "1st press" lenticular cover. But this one I got from BestBuy not only sport the "1st press" lenticular cover but also an extra "Bestbuy Exclusive" Disc.
