The outer box was very banged up and looked like a thumb had punched through the box. Inside the outer box, two of the slim cases had the inserts in backwards.
I was worried about the condition that this set would arrive in based on the number of crushed outer boxes I have seen at different stores.

Before I received the last of my two orders (the first order was received within about a week), I noticed the charge to my credit card was higher than the order confirmation e-mail I received for the order. Quick research revealed that I they did not take off the 20% discount when charging me (again, although it appeared correctly on the order confirmation page).

I e-mailed them of this problem and the reply I received was that because I received 20% off my previous order during this sale, I could not receive the discount on this second order.

On every DDD sale in the past I have made 2-3 orders during the sale period and have never had this problem (nor have I ever read of anyone having this problem).

I am obviously very disappointed in this level of service.

Received my one and only order today from the sale. Everything was in stock and arrived in excellent shape. Fourteen items in total that shipped out on 6/17.

Just got back after a week away on business - everything has arrived. All in one box (6/20) except 2 backorders which arrived the next day. All look in good condition.

Which codes did you use? I tried one listed in this discussion [DVDPRICESEARCH, I think] and it didn't give me the discount. There was no warning. I just happened to notice the code didn't work.

I'm a little dissapointed with DDD. My Alien boxset came pretty banged up so did my lost season 1 but its not as bad as the aliens boxset.

Some of them were listed incorrectly. For example, that one was supposed to be "pricesearch".

Everything seems to be ok except for one floater that had no scratches. The hub was broken on the case and was extremely sticky around the edges when I removed the security stickers so I just threw that case out and used an extra one. All is good.

Received my 2nd and 3rd orders today. They were shipped media mail on the 17th. No dings or floaters.

My final order Avengers Emma Peel Collector's Edition) shipped out on the 21st after coming back in stock.

i missed my box for the second day in a row. for some reason ddd sent this part of my order ups i left them a note telling them that i work 2nd shift. they are going to try to deliver the package again on monday... during the time when i will be at work. i hate those a-holes (ups). thanks ddd...not.

on a bright note i did get my band of brothers in today, shipped usps, nicely packed no dents etc. so at least the weekend won't be a total loss.

Man, I used to live in IL until about 2 years ago. I forgot how much longer the shipping takes now that I live in NY...

However, I seem to recall last June/November it NEVER took this long. Perhaps DDD didn't expect as much business as last time and got a lot more?

Other than the time until orders ship, actual delivery times are out of DDD control. USPS Media Mail can take anywhere up to 21 business days so until that point there is nothing to be concerned about. Media Mail is typically between 4-14 business days though but there are no guarantees.

I've participated in all the 20% OFF DDD sales since they started, and my orders have arrived here in NYC faster this time than ever before. Using free shipping, both my 1st and my 2nd orders reached me exactly one week after being placed.

I ordered Dazed and Confused CC on the 12th and it was expected to ship on the 22nd now they are saying July 3rd. Is anyone else still waiting on their D&C?

Got 8 of 9 DVD's Thursday (didn't check PO Box until Friday AM)...

all were fine. They said Millenium Mambo was discontinued, yet they sent it anyways. And I checked my bank records, and they did charge me for it, so it's all good I guess. It wasn't a disc for me anyways, it was for a friend that said it used to be at Best Buy all the time then disappeared...

Another Meltdown was for the same friend, and Return To Me I bought for a girl at work (just posting this info to explain why I ordered such unrelated items)

Got my order today. Always nice to open up a box filled with DVDs. It's like Christmas in June.

Which translates to "Why are you my DVDs?" which still sort of works, I guess. ;D

Got my order today after ordering last Friday night. Everything looks to be in great shape. Can't wait to dig into the four items I ordered: Sin City Re-Cut, KOH DC, Lady Snowblood CE and Ran.
