Same thing happened to me. I had to glue the little strip of paper back on. First time that's ever happened to me.Originally Posted by smurr05
Yeah I picked my copy up last pm, and had the paper slightly rip when I took off that sheet on the back.

That IS a good price. I just sold my original trilogy copy for $6.99 on Half.com since I replaced it with this SE version.

If I didn't already have it, I might just pick it up for $9.99 at BB and forget about the CH membership. It's only a few bucks more and you don't have to deal with the enrollment and fulfillment headache Originally Posted by vherub

Don't mean to start a "religious" war, but my last CH "headache" yielded me 19 DVDs for a total of $78.30, or $4.12 each Originally Posted by eau

I used LMT (6@$0.49, 1@$9.95, free shipping), followed by 3 Buy1-Get1Free orders (4 DVDs each, free shipping). The first B1G1 order was to fulfill my account, while the other two were combined with a 2/$14 promotion ($3.50 each). I was able to enroll and fulfill my account in the span of about a week.Originally Posted by eau

This rang up for 9.99 today in Durhman, N.C. I got the five poster cards and the booklet, along with a soundtrack ad. Luckily my glue didn't rip any of the cover.

This just happened to me last night. Got my copy from BB.com, which arrived in perfect condition. I go to carefully remove the back insert, and off comes a nice slice of the back of the DVD package along with the sticky stuff. Glued it back on, and it will hold, but it obviously doesn't look that good. Annoying but I'll live with it.Originally Posted by Doughboy

I purchased this for the restored footage but my preference is for the original print to remain as is - lends a touch of authenticity to an old movie. Not clean it up so much that it looks like a new, old movie. I might be alone on this or might even invite flaming. Just voicing my opinion though.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought the 5.1 track sounds too artificial. I was also disappointed by the dubbing in the restored scenes, but do think the scenes improve the movie by fixing some storyline gaps introduced in the original American release cut.Originally Posted by laidbacklarkin
I watched this flick last night. Although its completely restored with about 18 minutes of footage added, I found the Dolby Digital 5.1 redux quite irritating. There are instances when a character not on sceen is talking and the dialogue is transferred to the rear speakers with an echo effect added, which I found to be really irritating. Besides, the dubbing for the restored scenes was quite bad. The dirt cleanup of the print is also not uniform throughout.I purchased this for the restored footage but my preference is for the original print to remain as is - lends a touch of authenticity to an old movie.
