Northern IL and Southern WI only! Video Store Closing in Antioch, IL
In Antioch, IL there is a video store called Lion Video that is closing and i believe that they are only going to be open through Sunday.
Currently, they are selling off ALL of their inventory. Dvd's are $8 or less, this includes movies that were released this past week: ie. Fog. TV seasons are being sold between $15-$25 THis includes Sopranos, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Rescue Me, Highway to Heaven, Roots, Etc.. And if anyone is interested, All vhs tapes are $1.99. They had Sopranos on VHS as well.
If you're wondering where Antioch, IL is, Its a few miles west of Gurnee Mills/ Great America.
Here's what i purchased:
Dr. Strangelove 2-disk
Casablanca 2-disk
FernGully 2-disk
Junebug
The Office 1st Season
Office Special
Malcolm X 2-disk
Mallrats 10th Anniversary
Easter Parade 2-disk
Ran: Criterion Collection
Diary of a Country Priest: Criterion
Beatles: HELP
Beatles: Hard Days Night
Citizen Kane: 2-disk
The Fly 2-disk
Charmed 1st season
Fantastic Four: Complete Animated Series
Into the West: Complete Series
All 18 of these for $135 plus tax. Equals out to about $7.50 plus tax. Not a bad deal. So if you get a chance it'll be worth a look. I just wish i would have gotten there a day earlier.

I've also heard that the Lion Video in Batavia, IL will be closing by the end of the month. So i would assume that they might be something very similar to this. I haven't heard of any of the other stores closing down, these two are closing because of lease issues.

Hellraiser - Hellworld
The Skeleton key
Single White female 2
Sky High
for $67 (just over $7 a title). Thx to the OP for this one.

One of the managers told me that the store in Batavia was closing because of their lease as well. For those wondering, the Batavia store is sligtly north of Aurora, IL. IF you do a search for Lion Vidoe, you can probably find the address and the phone number, so if anyone is close you might as well give them a call and see if they are having a sale or closing.
