Puppetmaster Boxed Set

This is the rare out of print puppetmaster dvd boxed set originally made by Full Moon video. This boxed has been out of print for a few years now and is hard to come by. Full moon has found a limited amount of copies of this boxed set and they are selling them for 99.99 with 12.50 i think for shipping and handling. This is a good deal for it.

Truthfully... I don't trust this site at all. And the office is not open til january 2nd anyway. But this would be so hot if its real.

The sets are still going for $120-150 on ebay, so 112.49 shipped is pretty good.

I ordered mine on 12/7. It shipped on 12/16 and I recieved it on 12/24. Nicely packaged and in mint condition. Now when I first saw the site for it, it said they had found at least 70 boxes. So not sure how many they actually had and how quick they sold out.

I ordered and received mine. It took 2 weeks to arrive, but I did get it. The 70 copies only is a bunch of BS though.

they didn't say only 70. They said at least 70. Which could mean 10,000, that is at least 70.

Atleast 70 turning into 200+ is just BS. Oh well.

What do you guys care how many they have as long as you get one if you want one. The more, the better.

Or are we afraid that we'll lose bragging rights?

I could care less how many copies they say they have. I'm just pleased I got the one I ordered for the price I did (considering what they go for on Ebay).

No, I don't really care if they had 10,000, but they should have atleast mentioned so rather then making it seem so damn urgent to order RIGHT THEN AND THERE to even get one. If they said there was more then 70, I would have waited till I had Paypal funds. Instead I ordered and paid using my debitcard because I thought they would be sold out within a day or two.

Its Full Moon though, why should expect anything better from them? They did make a Gingerbread movie starring Gary Busey

Speaking of which, they claim said movie is exclusive to the website, but I found a copy of Ginger Dead Man at FYE for 14.99.

I knew they were getting their rights back around this time and since they said at least 70, that meant to me that they could unload their stock that was returned due to legal issues which would probably be in the thousands.

I put my used one up at ebay right after the original post for it was put up and ended up selling it for $187.55

Now the sealed ones aren't doing so well on the auction block. I'm also wondering how many people ordered them to sell on ebay, have had the auction completed, but still haven't been able to ship since a lot of people that ordered it day one haven't gotten it yet.

The first rule of DVD fight club is to never sit on a bargain. It could always vanish in the drop of a hat. Stop yer bitchin'.

Here's a question:

How many of you would drop $100 on the Puppetmaster box set if it was re-released and you could pick it up anywhere? Best Buy, Amazon, etc.

C'mon. Puppetmaster???????

I've seen a few of them, and considering all the truly great, and near great horror films out there, there can't be that many Pupppetmaster fans in the world. I suspect 95% of the people who are jumping up and down at this deal are doing so just because it's "rare", and not because there's actually anything worth $100 on the discs themselves.

If P.T Barham was alive today, he'd be in the DVD business.

The movies are so bad there good though. Puppet Master 1 and 3 are actually pretty decent, the others filled with bad acting and retarded plots. There are many extras on the DVDs, but they seem like trailers and short magazine clips.

Hey, I love them. But consider I am shallow hal when it comes to movies. I love cheesy sci fi / horror movies.

Even before this deal was posted, I had sold my used one on Ebay about a year ago for $220. I paid $50 for it back in the day from Reel.com (... stops to recall the glory days of Reel.com). I remember being ticked that just before the close of my auction (which was one of the only ones for this set, at the time) some guy stole my pictures and my auction description to sell his for just under $300.

When I first saw this, just a few hours after it was originally posted, I'll admit that I was tempted to buy a couple, one to keep and one to sell, but the statement that they had gotten the rights back made me pause. Full Moon is in this for the money just as much as we are. If they have the rights, they can say that they only have 70, but for all we know, they have started production up again. At $100+ a pop, not a bad days work.

... and since they are still selling, almost a month after the "70 or so" sets were found, leads me to believe that they have probably sold a lot more than 70. Don't think for a second that every DVD scapler on the block didn't order at least one set.

I figured that I could use some of the money made by selling some of my rarer titles (that I have never watched or only watched once) to buy a new TV and pay for the kids' school. I sold my original sealed Salo a couple years back, that I had bought before it was announced to be discontinued. After having it sit in a drawer for 5 years, unwatched, it was worth more to me to get the money (which I then used to further populate my DVD collection) ... just like my Puppet Master Collection.

Everyone would like to make a buck. Just because I was thinking it, doesn't make it so.

... DVD collections and Ebay are just like Antiques and the Antiques Roadshow ... if you found out the family Tomahawk you had been playing with as a kid was worth more than $100,000, would you sell it? (Saw that on the show a couple weeks ago.) ... no pun intended.

They finally took this set off of they site. So the prices are probably going to go back up on ebay.
