25% off all DVDs at secondspin.com

That’s right – we’re having another huge DVD sale for our best customers only. Use the discount code DVDSALE46 and save 25% on every DVD in stock, including hot movies, kid’s videos and TV boxed sets! But hurry…this special sale is for one week only and ends 10/26/05!

I don't know how this stacks up to the wherehouse 33% off sale, but it's worth a look.

Same prices, same inventory...and they scrapped their old search engine in favor of wherehouse's shitty one.

Wait a second, so Wherehouse.com and SecondSpin.com are pretty much the same place?

Shipping and tax kills it for me. They should at least offer a free shipping offer once you buy a certain amount.

There is a new code that now works, so it's back on for the next week at least.

I've got some credit for the site, but I dunno. I've had maybe two or three orders and at least three bad incidents with them. From my experiences with them, I've received floaters, terribly scratched discs, wrong titles, and have been charged for a title that is suddenly out of stock. Their s/h and taxes are insane, too. I just don't like the site.

I've had 2 orders with them and both have been in like-new condition. Too bad I didn't have the 25% of a couple weeks ago. Could've saved myself almost $15 on My So Called Life. Not that I'll complain though. More than happy to get it for $54. I previously picked up Cook, Thief, Wife, Lover after it had gone OOP.

They used to have a good bit of Criterions all the time. Typing in just "Criterion" into the search engine now only pulls up Time Bandits, so I don't know if that's the only one they have, or if the others no longer have Criterion in the title. If it's the latter, that really sucks.

Are you referring to this new Second Spin code (since they share the stock with Wherehouse) or a new code for wherehouse.com? If the latter: what's the code?

OK, I see it in the wherehouse.com code thread. FYI: This code is FSI102FR.

Note: Prices vary between sites as well, so a title may be less at wherehouse + the discount is greater. My order was $28 at wherehouse while it was $31 at secondspin.

They changed their search engine and title data, so it's just that the others don't have Criterion in the title. It makes searching a huge pain in the ass, and not really worth the time.

Their DVD categories are ridiculous. Leisure Arts? Film, TV, & Radio? Both History and Historical Film? What?

Sales tax and shipping KILL the deal. Oh well maybe they will offer a reduced shipping charge.
